Thanks for joining me Amyloofoo; how did you get on?:o

I Dys0ned the hall, lounge and kitchen, (just what I could get to without moving furniture);) emptied the Dys0n and all the room bins into the kitchen bin ready for the black bag to be tied up (bin day tomorrow, a day late due to the BH), and cleaned the nose art off the inside and outside of the back door and the patio door and adjoining full-length window. Also refilled the Breakfast Tea and Earl Grey jars, which were both empty, and did a scout round for anything else to go in the recycling sack.

    Not bad going, for me!:D

I managed to get the DW and WM on (after collecting all the mugs from around the house), remade the bed in the master bedroom and put away all the shoes that were littering the hall. Unfortunately at that point I was interrupted by a call from DH, forgot what I was doing and went to put the kettle on :rotfl: Think you were slightly more productive than me!

Kazm - I read DS as son too but I think its sister??
Thanks Helen, that didnt even cross my mind as I dont have any sisters so never even thought of that one :o

Well I was going to complete so much from the list but wish I hadnt started in the kitchen. Decided to get the step ladder out and scrub the cupbaord tops which was going well until I got as far as the cooker hood/extractor. This has been defunct since we moved in and I'm sure used to get a wipe over but it obviously hasnt been done in years. Yuk yuk yuk. Ihave dismantled scrubbed and have soaking in bio powder in the bath various different parts to it. Its not all finished but is looking decidedly better now. All cupboard doors scrubbed and wiped down (I know it was on last weeks list and I didnt do it!) and I have used the remnants of the chicken to make stock and am making chicken and veg soup in the slow cooker now.

I also now have a distinct sore throat and have to go and meet DD in the town when DH has rested so that we can get her some sort of coat for the weekend as she hasnt had one since she refused to wear the Roxy one I bought her 2 years ago. Little minx said oh just get me a black Superdry one. Yeah right!!! Like I'm laying out for that (unless they have one in TKMaxx) and I certainly wont buy her one without her trying it on and agreeing she will wear it. Also need ot get a new camera as old one has just about had it and my phone camera isnt very good. Oh and a new sewing box having inherited DD's stuff she no longer wants! Right I better go and do some more and find throat lozenges.

    See ya laters
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Hi All

Am at work, hoping to finish at 3. Need to stop off on way home to get some nighttime nappies for DS for our hols. Then hopefully I'll have an hour at home before I collect them.

Will be working from home tomorrow so can mingle a bit of laundry etc into my tea breaks... But I think I have a lot of paid stuff to do tomorrow. Catching up on Monday...

3 more sleeps! Have started packing.

  • LW you have been busy. I hope you are not over doing things or is this a sign that your shoulder is feeling a bit better?

Windows have been washed, back and front :) The window cleaner turned up so I got him to do the back as well :T Mirror in hall cleaned, washing on line.

I need to go to town now as i have the opticians at 3.30. DS is coming with me as he needs a new PE shirt, and I need to get a few bits from Wilkos.

    Catch up later

Sadly, the shoulder is as bad as ever; but a lot of tasks can be done one-handed, and as long as I remember to use my right hand (feels weird, but it's do-able) then I'm OK.:o I also have a close relationship with Mr Morphine, which helps.;)
