DD3 deposited at summer school until 3pm, Moomin and Tiddles deposited at Church summer club until 12:30pm.. Squeak is shrieking she wants Moomin back. Tiddles is on an exceptional go slow this morning, I was fit to strangle her by 8:30!

Both beastlets fed and watered and changed.. need to get them both dressed now though.

    WM on

Off to find clothes and make a cuppa.

Then I have a list to work through.. I am quite tempted to get through the 3 days stuff today so I can do nothing tomorrow (nothing meaning cleaning another room and sorting a mountain of gibble on the landing)

Dw emptied and filled, yet more recycling out and the WM on a cleaning wash. Off upstairs to be ruthless with clothes.

In the last "not quite" HHC I have:
    • Put away 3 backs of toilteries and cleaning stuff bought yesterday :o
    • Condensed all packaging of above stuff to save space
    • Emptied bag near the door
    • Rehomed 2 pairs of school shoes
    • Collected empty boxes and put in the back of the car for my sister
    • Decluttered:coffee:!
The boys have been so good up to now but are asking to go out on a bike ride so I think I`ll do that now so we can maintain the harmony!

When I come back, I'll jump back in with the lists from Dusty.

See you all in a bit :)

    Morning all
Hi and welcome to the new people
    Sticks for BD's where needed

Kazm - I read DS as son too but I think its sister??

I've decluttered DH and DD off to the charity shops with 2 bin bags of stuff, I'm sure they will come back with something they've bought - it will end up being donated back in a couple of months
Last night I suggested that DS start looking through the Argos catalogue for ideas for what he wanted for Xmas - wish I hadn't as he's marked lots [and I do mean lots] of things he wants lol. I need to do the "there's only so much money in the world" talk with him and get him to lower his expectations!

The kitchen is in need of a sort out - washing up should clear most of the gibble in there, then its the rest of the list and maybe the bathroom too

Have a good day everyone, we're away to Harold O'Dell Country Park this afternoon for a walk

    Morning all

Right I really need to get motivated instead of faffing about like I have been recently. So far today all I've managed to do is get a load of washing on, another on the line and a 3rd sorted and away. Plus I've finally made a list of the bits of uniform we still need to get - which is actually rather a lot :o so looks like uniform shopping needs to be added to today's jobs!

    Lists not looking good:

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level one

    Sweep and mop floors
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe worksurfaces and small appliances[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Run the large appliances through a clean cycle[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Clean out the fridge[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe the hob and oven[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean the table and replace cloth/T towels/washing up sponges etc[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    [STRIKE]Wash windows[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe all sills[/STRIKE]

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1

    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/STRIKE]
    Extra
Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    Binbag dance

Wednesday - Master bedroom and Landing
    Level One

    Vacuum the floors
    Level Two
Strip and wash bedding and remake bed
Clear the floordrobe!.. are there any summery things that are past their best that you can fling?
    Level Three
Dust and deweb.. don't forget the bedframe and light fitting!
Polish any glass bits.. table tops, lamps, mirrors etc
Declutter and wipe the bedside tables... or whatever area you use as a dumping ground!
    Extras
Choose jobs from your own lists or me time

Going to make a start while the boys get dressed. Anyone up for a HHC?

Now my back's recovered (coffee does wonders!) would anyone care to join me for another HHC?

There are some nasty dark grey clouds heading towards us - I hope they don't drop the wet stuff all over my half-dry washing...

    Joining you, Mrs_B !!!

Wait for me! Give me 5 mins and I'll join you, have done nothing except breakfasts here!

Feeling sore today and taking it steady as I have work later. Thank you again for your kind words. Mrs Bee, I do need bubble wrap, and Lamewolf, you are right, it does shake you, even if (thankfully) there are no serious consequences. I know now I get clumsy when I rush, so that's a good excuse to take jt steady! But I'm going to get a grip and move my b@tt!!

Jaybee, I have one of the dryers, but mine is only a single tier, like an ironing board. It's good for things that need finishing off drying or airing, but I would think the three tier version is much better.

Welcome to Lime Sorbet (I love limes!) and where's that Betty Crumble? Betty, I have one word for you - pancakes! They are the eggy bread equivilant in this house!! If I'm on my own or we need cheering up, we make a couple and COVER them in fresh lemon juice!! Yum yum!!! A nice surprise, too, for any visitors we have as most folk only have them once a year. (Thinks, that would be a nice quick lunch ......).

Well, better catch the others up, off I go, and good wishes coming down the line to all those poorly or low. R x
