Well Saturday I was on a roll! Our bedroom looks beautiful! It is about the only room that does ATM. But I can seek solace there!

LR is literally a dumping ground as we are off on pack holiday with the brownies today and everything is pileD high ready to pack into the car. One more trip to food shop in the morning and we are ready for the off!

Then on Saturday when we get back DD is moving back out and life/tidy house will return to normal, SIGH! Much as I love her I WANT MY HOUSE BACK. I did manage to swish and swipe the bathroom today and I have washed up too!,

Night all, busy few days ahead!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    My List

I really need to get on top of this clutter situation, so I will be concentrating on Ebay / Cash4Clothes / charity shops / flinging - mostly cares but also homewares that just aren't needed for a place this small and are stopping me actually having the things that would really help!

I've got my final assignment for this module due in a couple of weeks, so need to get cracking with that and start revising for my exam at the beginning of October.

Respond to tax credits query - whhhhhy do they need more information from so long ago, don't they know I've moved house a ridiculous number of times and am disorganised as it is!?!

Chase up final reference from uni to get new work start date sorted. Make sure old employers have actually sent the references they promised to send weeks ago!

Complete all TB articles and chase up payments / further work.

Get back to Very and ask them why they're being even more useless than usual.

Start thinking about what I'm going to make for DS' new baby when she arrives... my first niece! :D

Sort out the spare room for little nephew to come and stay again, think he's driving his Mum round the bend :rotfl:

Keep an eye out for new dressing table, make up lamp and chest of drawers for the bedroom.

I have this one and it is worth every penny. Best used with a large sheet or duvet cover over the whole thing. I love mine :heart2:

Thanks for for that - that is the one I was looking at. I shall go ahead and order it today.

Not sure how much flying I'll be doing today as I want to get lots of things sorted for ebay. Currently they are all sitting in little piles around the house patiently waiting to be photographed and listed. It all takes so much time - maybe I'm just slow!!

    Morning all

Welcome to all new folk - this is a great place for encouragement and support.

Had a mixed end to the evening and only managed the WM filter and wiped a side down, put yesterday's progress overall was still good. DS1 wasn't ready to go to his GF's until almost 9.30 ( as it's almost an hour's trip there and back) and when I got back DH said that a dog had attacked our cat. Cue a very distressed DS2. I went to look for her where they thought she'd be, but found nothing and told DS2 that was a good sign. He still wasn't asleep at 11.30 and we were all so pleased when she sauntered in, unharmed, a little later. I think it scared her, though, because she stayed close to us for the rest of the evening. DS2 was asleep within minutes after he'd gone back to bed. :D

We're off to a friend's later this morning (not sure exactly when) and I've promised to bring a cake as she's providing lunch, I need to have breakfast, have a shower, get DS2 up and ready, go out for some cream, bake a victoria sponge, assure NN that cat is fine (she saw the dog go for it), WM x as many as I can fit in (supposed to stay dry today), look for some paperwork and do as much stuff from my list as possible. I won't be bored, then... :D
