  • Chicken is in the oven.
DD2 has finally appeared from her bedroom!!
DD1 has made me a cuppa. I am just reading my emails while I wait for it to be cool enough to drink, and then I will attempt to clear the dining table. We will be able to eat at the table then :)

Good luck vibes for Goodintentions DD

bossymoo, you are doing so well. Have a dodgy hug as I know it must be hard on such occasions :grouphug:

Have been to Mr M with DH. His packing up smoking by using the electronic ones is costing him a fortune but I guess its healthier. If he had been smoking cigarettes instead of rolling his own he would be saving plus I suppose not being at work and it being easy he use he does.

Going to get the chicken remnants in the slow cooker for soup as that went down well last time I made it and I need to look for my house keys which I seem to have lost :o

There I was thinking getting some food was a good idea seeing as I have had nothing since yesterday evening and Squeak ended up with half of it.. and half of 2 slices of toast is not very much! I am so fed up I just want to sit and cry...

I am onto my second rubbish bag .. I hate the mess in here it is really winding me up now and I seem to be the only one who touches it or is bothered by it.. I am sure I am in fact the only one who can actually see it!

Lasagne pan in to soak along with a frying pan and a couple of wooden spoons.

I need to wash the filters from Henry, he has very bad breath.

Off to do the rest of the vacuuming in here and then get dinner on.. the kitchen

I woke up stupidly early with stomach ache. I've still got it but it's swirling around my kidneys and spine now. I went back to bed at 10 and dozed until 1.30. Thank goodness it's a BH or the kids would have been left to their own devices.

DH has roped them into clearing out the garage. The ginormous boot of his Mondeo has completed 3 trips to the tip. 4 outgrown bikes have been freecycled.

I've helped DS2 to sort through his outgrown clothes. I also recovered 2 Tesco bags of sweet wrappers. I have 3 pairs of hardly worn football boots to put on Ebeast. 2 pairs of lightly worn converse can also go on.

I'm sending the Essex Lion to chase away the black dogs.

Enjoy the rest of the BH everyone.

Ha ha ha! Makes a change for essex to be in the news for something other than the Towie wasters :D I hope you are feeling better soon. It sounds like your lot have been doing well with the decluttering. I think we have a pair of footy boots around that were worn once last year (whatever happened to PE outdoors?) that are now 3 sizes too small! Maybe I should find them & ebeast them :) What size/colour are the Converse?

Ok. tea finished. Why am i still sitting here? :p

They see it and care about it (apart from DS2), but don't consider it to be their job to help sort it. :(

Thanks for the company during the HHC. I started late (distracted by quidco :o) but carried on until 10 minutes ago. Backdoor is now clean (from the inside - not venturing out), TD has been wiped (outside) and filter cleaned, more bits washed and put away, DW emptied and few bits put back in. I'm kind of skirting around the edges of the serious frogs. :o I'll have a few more minutes and then I'll get back to it.

Still don't know what I'll do with the bits of pork for tea. DH came home and had a bit of salad, but not enough to avoid having to do a proper tea. I quite fancy making Hawaiian toast for the kids (ham, pineapple slices, cheese) but may have to find something else.
