  • My HHC turned into HHC x2 :)

    I have:
    • cleared & cleaned the windowsill in the laundry room (not an easy task, as it had been used to propogate seeds for the kids and was covered in little flies, bits of compost & dead bits of plants)
    • washed the window (it was yuk!!)
    • washed down the plants from the windowsill in the garden to get rid of the dust
    • washed up
    • cleared out the cat litter tray
    • hung out the washing
    • refilled the WM
Doesn't look like much, but it needed doing :)

I may make a cuppa now, and see if DH wants one. Anyone else want one? :coffee::coffee::coffee:

MrsChaos, I'm glad your cat is ok too. I'm such a cat lover and hate the thought of any animal being hurt.

Hex, is George a cat? (Apologises profusely to LO just in case he's your DS!). But - if he is a cat George sounds like a ginger one (my favourite, but don't tell my black and white one!!).
Despite being basically a dog person, I too hate the thought of a cat being hurt. Btw, the last George I had any dealings with was a very large, very daft Dalmatian. Named as in George-Don't-Do-That.:rotfl:

Lamewolf, you are very quiet. Is everything OK?
Aww, bless your cotton socks, yes I'm fine thank you; just a tad late getting anything done today. Ted went home earlier; and the dog-sitting service agent had some more bookings for me to put on the calendar, also she stayed to chat for a while, which she doesn't usually do.:o I can look forward to two visits from my pal Dylan the Lurcher, and in between those I'll be having a newbie, Dave the Yorkie.:D Before any of that, we have Lucy Lab, (aka Lucy Lastic - I'm naughty for giving them all nicknames) who is coming on 6th September.:o

I need to press on - I ought to remove the nose-art from the back door and patio door, so.....
    HHC starting at 13:00;)

    Debt-free and Proud!
I'm being a bit slow today, mostly just managing to regain the ground I won yesterday after DH's night time and morning routines :rotfl: Have completed a couple of articles and got some work done too though, so I suppose it's a helpful indicator of how I'm going to cope with the housework when I go back to work. The bedroom's still a no-go zone, but the lounge and kitchen are looking pretty sparkling so overall I'm chuffed

Thanks for putting my mind at rest, LameWolf. It sounds like you're going to be busy for the next few weeks with all your canine visitors.

My book has just been delivered and the dog theme continues: "HTML Dog", all about building web pages. It has a lovely portrait of a young boxer on the front, which I think you'd like even if the subject matter is not for you! It's something for me to get stuck into and exercise my brain creatively. The HTML Dog website is very good, but I needed the book next to the computer while I do the work, rather than flicking between webpages!

there I go, procrastinating again. Must get on with the work...

Thanks for joining me Amyloofoo; how did you get on?:o

I Dys0ned the hall, lounge and kitchen, (just what I could get to without moving furniture);) emptied the Dys0n and all the room bins into the kitchen bin ready for the black bag to be tied up (bin day tomorrow, a day late due to the BH), and cleaned the nose art off the inside and outside of the back door and the patio door and adjoining full-length window. Also refilled the Breakfast Tea and Earl Grey jars, which were both empty, and did a scout round for anything else to go in the recycling sack.

    Not bad going, for me!:D

ETA: Ionafan the book sounds very interesting; I'm married to a computer techie, but he doesn't do web stuff, he's an Oracle DBA.:o
