How on earth do you get all these bargains?! I wanna join in!!! Do you just look in the bargain bin sections that they have, or is there some other secret I don't know about?
And are there particular times that are best to go? Or is it a case of getting to know your own store and their times for reducing?0 -

My Sainsburys and Tesco seem to do them at around 6pm on a Monday- Wednesday. Thursday-Saturday around 7.30pm and Sunday around 3.30pm.
My tesco has just 2 reduced areas that everything gets moved in to but the sainsburys has 4.
Co-op seems to do them at around 10am and very good prices, Morrisons at around 4pm. I am yet to work out my asda but it is the huge metro centre one.
I didn't go out yesterday but I will tonight.
Well done everyone on the bargins. I want to pinch that butter. :rotfl:£36/£240

Scarlett8 - I would recommend getting to know you stores. I find different stores have different "traits".
Well done on the fantastic bargains, some great finds. :T
The posts show what can be achieved and was intended to be a fun thread and has been. Amazing the variations.
On a more serious side, hope it gives others confidence to find those "gems" and sadly some rely on getting reduced food bargains to provide a better quality of food for their families which they may have been able to afford otherwise (they deserve to be 1st in the queue).
I hoping to pick up a few bargains later.
