Reduced food item challenge Sunday 26th Aug - Saturday 1st Sept.
Just a bit of fun and no prizes (unless Martin wants to part with some of his millions). lol
Lots are buying "YS" (yellow stickers) or "whoopsies" etc., which basically are reduced items usually on their sell by or use by date.
See who can "buy" the biggest % reduction and also the biggest price reduction in money terms (without the use of coupons/vouchers or staff discounts).
Anyone up for the challenge??
Maybe we could do this on a weekly basis??
Starting tomorrow .................... ready, steady ................... go!!

I would love to do this but i dont think my local shops will be able to match some of the bargains you post on here!
Nevertheless I'll keep this challenge in mind whilst whoopsie hunting and let you know;)0 -

yes we can fit them in but about 3 months ago we had to go out to buy a tall freezer
as i came home with so many bargains we couldn't fit them in freezer opppsss
my local co-op is amazing i live in a small village
theirs a mr t about 7 miles away and there's a free bus few times a day that stops opersite side of road to the co-op even on a sunday
so most people especially the older generation and people with out cars uses that as they don't want to cross road
so co-op is hardly uses as they say its expensive ,and the points sistem isnt as good as tescos
so i have the best kept secret in town the staff in there are so lovely aswell i go most days as its half a mile from my house and i get so much stuff and its always lovely
cant rember the last time i paied full price for anything i always coupon hunt or if i go market for veg and meat i haggle lol my partner says i have no shame but i say im saving for us to have other things
even my 4 year old daughter asks me if we have any coupons for shopping or if we are going to the market she trys haggling as well its so cute0 -
