My Nokia phone dictates texts too Sue, would have an iPhone over it though any day!

Glad you got your son in school lilrahi :) my youngest had to wait months too as the school was too full. Now it's too empty!

Sylvia, I've done that before too checked without posting! When I first started posting comps from a mag I kept putting them in the same thread by mistake!

Becks thats a great idea with the flowers. Mine were artificial and although I still have them, they're all squashed and ruined!

Will this rain ever stop! My roofs still leaking!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
  • Whoops Sylvia.

Well its still raining, but the water on the road has disappeared one way now.

We need to exchange our voucher for our merlin pass, but everything is quite far away. Im actually wondering now if we should sell ours TBH. We are thinking of driving to the Trafford Centre to exchange it at the Legoland discovery centre and then going to Blackpool one day, Sea life in Scarborough another and also to the York Dungeon, but that's it. None of these places are we really bothered about going to, but it would make use of the pass. Everywhere else is quite a way and we would need money just to go.
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers

Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:

That was my problem, zombieslayer. The only place close to me is SeaLife centre, Birmingham and would have to go activate it at Warwick Castle, a 45 minute train ride away. DH doesn't really like theme parks and so I wouldn't really get my money's worth out of it so hopefully whoever bought it enjoys it more.

And also wherever we go, it would involve train tickets then buses to the theme park, food etc... it would have been far too expensive to go anywhere.7

There is loads to do with the pass in Blackpool Zombie - we did them all, Tower, Tower Circus, Madame Tussauds, SeaLife Centre & Dungeons. We had a brilliant time there. Went to SeaLife Centre in Scarborough and Dungeons in York too. We activated ours at Trafford Centre too.

Must get myself more motivated I don't seem to have entered many comps the last few days. Think I need my little break.;)

  • Still raining here but not quite so heavy as when i left the house. I think the wind and rain have partially destroyed my umbrella though :rotfl: what use is an umbrella if it doesn't withstand what it was meant for. Will try and put it back into shape as don't really want to get a new one as the good ones are expensive

It better not be like this when we go to Alton Towers in a couple of weeks. They are dated tickets so cant even change the day if it is bad when we get up to go.
