Wow you're well ahead Sue
bet your DD is glad to get away from this horrid weather! We're on amber alert in places nearby.
We were soaked coming home from school so put our Jim jams on and snuggled up on sofa playing DVD bingo! Then the kids made some rice crispie cakes for their dad for his birthday today. He had to work till 8 though!
I checked to see what vouchers were in sun this week but there's no grocery vouchers, just high st stores. It was £10 off burton today, 20% off ELC tomorrow, 20% off boohoo wed, £5 off smyths thurs and £5 off new look friday.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Glad some peeps are up to date! I have been searching for a bargain for a hotel near Edinburgh. Was going to go to a Best Western as I thought DS's hotel was a member but they left a few months ago so can't get the special rates now. Was just about to book another hotel in Penicuik for £59 (it was £79 last time I looked) when I saw it on Toprooms for £41.30!!!!! Feeling really pleased with myself now. Just told DH we can have a nice meal out with the savings to which he replied he is sure there will be a nice chippy nearby - in his dreams.

Well done on your saving sheils. I am so envious of all your lovely little trips away.
I have resorted to sitting in bed in my joggers and dressing gown. I am freezing but DH says it isn't cold.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
morning all
had a generally fun weekend - went to the Great British Cheese festival in Cardiff courtesy of real radio - stayed at the Park Plaza hotel - huge room, great breakfast & brilliant service. the festival itself was OK - bought some cheese fro crimbo - but wouldn't have wanted to pay £8.95 to go in though. Mind you the drinks vouchers went down well. Brilliant curry sunday night. Getting back yesterday was a nightmare got caught out by floods & had to wait at Temple Meads for over an hour dur to flooding on the railway line. Eventually we were supplied with a taxi . At least we made it.proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
Morning all,
Glad you had a good time hamsterfan. It is a worry when you get caught up in flooding - our area is so used to rain we don't seem to get much! Nearly made a bad mistake once when we were at Burnham on Sea, the weather was so wet on our last day we thought about coming home a day early. If we had we would have spent the day stuck on the M5.
Love my little breaks Becks - even more than comping  Love seeing if I can get bargains too although usually I book early for them rather than late. It is nice to get away with DH on our own. As I was widowed with 2 small kids when we met we have never had an enormous amount of time on our own especially since we went on to have another 2. Really looking forward to seeing "Phantom of the Opera", I would never had paid the money if I hadn't won the Ticketmaster cards though.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all, it rained all night here but has stopped just in time for the double glazer to replace out dilapidated old porch. He was here at 7:45, good job I got up early just in caseReally can't see how they think it's a one man job, but I suppose (hope) they know what they're doing.
I do love reading about the breaks that you've taken or booked, the cheese market sounds interesting, we're great fans of cheese.
