Hi Wingo, that is disgusting about DD's school making her do PE and then to make her get changed with everyone watching is not on is it. I think I would make an appointment with the head that's for sure. Love your pic about the choc, wish biscuits would make my body shrink LOL

Loving the pics FireFly, we went into Durham and got absolutely drenched, the rain and WIND have reached the north. Wished we had stayed in. Thanks for the nice warm coffee though, much appreciated.

Hi everyone.

What a rubbish rainy day. Its the sort of day where I just want to stay indoors with the heating on full blast and be all snuggly, but no Ive got places to go.

Ive just come back from one of my courses Im enrolled on which was really good. Im excited about the work experience which we will be doing later on. I can always impress while working, but its just getting into a working environment in the first place.

The only post for us today was some things we have bought. Some winter running clothes for me and some batteries for our car key fob.

Did get an email telling me Ive won again on the Shloer FB comp. Last time I was told I was getting a case of Shloer, but this time the WEM just says to expect my Shloer goody in the post in the next couple of days, without saying what so its probably a key ring. Whatever it is its still a win which is good as it keeps the spirit up. Must do a post in IWIWIW to thank the poster. I haven't checked yet, but will.

Thats aweful Wingo about the school. Hope you give them what for when you have that meeting. Id be furious too.

DS1 has been in touch with his Australian mobile number - first things first.
Just had a WEM for a bottle of special edition Tennents Lager. DH is well pleased - he has had 4 Pear Cidre Bottles with glasses and a different lager already in the past few weeks. We only have one bottle of the Blossom Hill wine left now so have to watch out for wine comps!

Thanks Sheils. Finally got home at ten past five and nipped to Argos to get a new phone charger and hurrah I can charge my phone witohut dangling it at all sorts of perculiar angles trying to get the charger to work :rotfl:

Just having a bit of down time before making the tea. I really should comp. I don't feel like I have done hardly anything since the wedding and have no excuse as that's 8 weeks ago.

Thank you Sheils and FireFly for thanking DH, its amazing to think that 5 out of 7 of that win was from the forum. It just shows doesn't it.

Need to catch up on the mags now, like to do them all but never had a win. Have any of you had a win on the mags?



Will keep trying, if my DH wins one before be he will be in trouble I can tell you, especially as I taught him how to do the comps in the first place. He only used the computer to play cards etc before so he is now doing too bad for 70.

AND - its still raining and miserable outside, at least I can soon close the blinds and curtains on it and hope its better tomorrow.
