Hi FireFly, couldn't see your last pic it was just a little box, thought I would let you know as we dont want to miss out on one of your pics as they are always good! Hope you don't mind me mentioning it.

When I was on about the mags what I meant was the weekly and monthly ones like puzzler.com and puzzlemags and of course the weekly Thats Life, TAB, Chat, P me Up,Real People Full House, Bella & TV times etc.

Zombislayer, you can call me Sylvia like everyone else if that's Ok with you. Hope you manage to get to your course tomorrow sounds really bad where you are. Fortunately for us Durham had a lot of new flood defences installed last year so we seem to be OK unless we head in the direction of Chester-le-Street or Newcastle where there can be flooding.

Becks, how time flies 8 weeks already.

i try to get them all done first thing mornings, get up,
get showered/washed/ etc then do whatever needs doing in flat/clean through/washing/sort lunch/dinner/ see to DH/ etc then can get entering them:j
early entry usually they work a treat :j
just sometimes if they're not working prop or running slow then have to catch them later on in the afternoon :eek:

Its the rural areas where I live thats making it a nightmare for the rain. All the mud from the fields is coming onto the roads making it difficult to drive.

Im still waiting for a Take a break, puzzler, Thats life type of win, but Im always planning what Im going to do with that £3000 when I get it (though no doubt the time I win it will be for £25 which is nice and will of course get spent happily, but £3000 is more). Mind you Im also planning what Im going to say when ITV (for some reason it will be Laura from ITV) ring me :rotfl:

i still get the weekly/puzzler/tab/ mags each week/month & enter them, i used to post the majority of them on here a while back but decided to 'retire' from posting them due to a lot of reasons & again i've had lots of wins from them :j
they are well worth the time to enter :j

Hope the roads get better for you zombie. It has rained non-stop all day here but at least we don't have any mud!

I haven't finished the dailies as I slept in this morning and then they seemed to go slow later on. Not sure if I can be bothered now though.

Phew.........just finished all comps up to and including the 30th, never been this far ahead before. DD should land in Memphis in about 40 minutes. Their flight to Newark landed on time, now they're on a much smaller plane for the final leg.

Off to search for any Sept comps I might have missed, I'm on a roll tonight
