Ah relaxing now after a nice tea. Have sorted the food cupboard too and need a bit of a restock. Now its tidy theres a lot less left than i thought :rotfl:

Sylvia your not the only one to post and it not appear. Late last night I put a post in saying hi to everyone, I had left the computer a bit earlier and when I came back didn't realise I had timed out so my message didn't appear. I was too tired to sit and put it all back in again.

Sheils good on you planning a short break, you are really lucky to get them at such a good price. I have been looking to book a short break in a Premier Inn in N Ireland, they always say £29 but the end price comes out more expensive. What do you think Premier Inn have done now, only built a hotel round the corner from where I live. Be tempted to book a night but seems pointless when I only live less than 5 minutes away.
Well done to all who won this week. I had a nice little Good Luck Irish Poem but could not get it onto MSE, was able to save it under my pictures.
Becks weather has changed, getting cooler. After a summer of lighting fires I am back to oil heating again. Great coming home to a warm house. Miss the cosiness of a warm fire but not cleaning it out and getting it lit. My umbrella blew inside out yesterday, another one for the bin. Bought a smaller one tonight. This morning I put one of those clear plastic see through hoods on. I remember seeing "old" people wearing them years ago and thinking I would never wear one of those. Well today I did.
Love all the pictures you are all putting on, they look great.

Hi Fire Fly - thanks for the Yorkie pic, just like my Lottie, never keeps still, she can be lying down fast asleep and if we catch one of her toys and we get up she is off the settee in a flash wanting to play again. Cant keep up with her.

Your best bet for a £29 night in a Premier Inn is to pick a Sunday night
Dreams. If I am going away and have a choice I try to include a Sunday as they are usually cheaper than any other night no matter which hotel you pick. I have booked two Premier Inn £19 nights for a stop over in October and 11th November (Going to see The Proclaimers)

We are supposed to get sunshine here tomorrow Sylvia but will wait and see.

Just ordered an A4 canvas for my mum towards her Christmas present. It is her favourite of our wedding photos. It was only £5.99 with a code I had off MSE (instead of £28.99 plus £5.99 p&p) so saved £28.99. Was such a good bargain I had to go back and order a second .... for myself but I have chosen the group shot that had everyone who came to my wedding on.

It's not pretty outside, lucky where we are but lots of local houses being evacuated :eek::eek: Mr Melvis has made it to work for his night shift but he's not sure if he'll make it back :eek::eek: Getting to work in the morning should be fun :rotfl::rotfl:

Ooh melvis, hope the floods don't affect you too. I saw it on the local news it's so mad the way it's just flooding everywhere. Dd you see in Scotland somewhere where the sea, wind and rain brought loads of foam substance everywhere! :eek: really freaky weather.
