Where can I get info about a non limited company.

I need to find (preferably for free) information such as directors/partners of a non limited company. I have the companies name, address and company number and wondered if there is anywhere on the internet whereby I can obtain the relevant info. I need this so that I can take them to court for ripping me off. Thanks

Have you tried looking on here?

    http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/

Click on WebCheck. There's also a Disqualified Directors list.
I am not stubborn. I am merely correct.

Thanks. When i put in the company number on webcheck it states that it is invalid. When I put in the company name it doesn't show on the list.

Did you click on all the options about dissolved names etc?

If you want to PM me the details, I'll have a scout around for you.

Presumably an unincorporated partnership or arrangement:

It is not a limited company. The compnay number begins with NL.

It means that any business partners would have to sign loans etc as individuals and would be held personally responsible for any comeback, rather than have their liability 'limited' as individuals. The loans would be in their names. If it all goes belly-up they can't just walk away.

Does this mean if I take him to court I do so as an individual as opposed to the company?

Are you sure its perhaps not NI ? as Northern Ireland companies begin with this. I've not heard of a non limited company having a registration number before
