Hi everyone, only just catching up today! It's been a really busy couple of days, what with work and helping sick friend, but I managed a couple of HHC this morning (not following lists!) and cleaned the conservatory, pulling out all the furniture. Emptied DW and cleaned kitchen, and dusted all rooms and S&S bathroom. OH has started putting up some shelving in the loft today, and is intent in getting it tidied up up there (mainly his stuff!). Tomorrow I want to mop kitchen floor and get OH to hoover through.

For all the bird lovers out there, I've not given much info out since my hol, but it's been really quiet, mainly nearly fully-grown starlings and ring-neck doves at the tables since we got back, not many little birds.

Got a busy day tomorrow, as out for blood test at 10am, then shopping for friend again, then lunch with another friend, then food shopping for us! And that's with only two of us!! I don't know how I used to manage! (Getting older .....)!!!!!

Well done to all the fly children who have done well in their GCSEs, and good luck to those starting new schools or colleges. I used to work in education and remember those days only too well!!! (Now THAT was BUSY!!!!).

Warm vibes to everyone poorly or weary and here's to a relaxing BH weekend as possible for everyone.

And I have to say, Macpep, I saw your post about your new kitten; jealous, me? That would be yes!!

PS Just doing an extra read through! Predictive text had put me as having lunch with a naked friend, not another friend!!!!!!! Yikes!!!!!!!!

Edited to add, I've just read the thread and want to say 'hi' to Betty Crumble and to say well done to Mumto5 for sticking out that job. I'm sure that something better will come your way - karma. Good luck and here's to it coming quickly. X

    Evening ladies

Dusty, thank you so much for the update on Ed. It is fabulous news that he is awake and doing so well. I am really pleased for you, all his friends and family xx

Did another half hour sorting in our room before we went to see dad. Have relocated spare single mattress to where it should be under the single bed but that means I now have to find somewhere to put all the spare bedlinen. Ah just had an idea but.need some cupboard sorting first. Still lots to put away so better do a S/S of the kitchen and sort a bitmore so we can get into bed!

Hopefully catch up with everyone tomorrow as no plans to do anything. Night all x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Lol... well I might give you one more chance :p though I could just inflict you on Triker... I may need to POAS though now you put the thought in my head!! Am I really 'lucky' enough to conceive (again) on the pill???

    :eek:Poor Triker she'll be in hiding now:eek:

Well I concieved DS1 on the pill and DS2 while on the contraceptive injection there is 23 mths between them. I then took nothing and didn't have DD till 6 yrs later when I sent OH for the snip:D

DD ragged and in bed, ditto DS2 but without the rags and DS1 up cleaning up the mirror he broke while I was typing this and he's having the bad luck to himself cause I have enough;)

    Dusty thats great news:j

Welcome to Betty, congrats to all the flykids who received their results today and great news about Ed. Sending continued recovery vibes.

Problem with having DH at home is that he doesn't want to do anything other than go out during the day and watch TV at home - which makes me feel like not doing anything either. :o

Going to take my new-to-me PC back to school for 9am tomorrow, as I think they've given me the wrong power lead/adaptor and the IT guy is supposed to be in. Will do budget during breakfast and then drive DS1 to an interview followed by going out with DH and DS2. Hopefully we'll sort DS2's school coat and shoes/trainers (provided his feet have grown). That would make it at least a bit productive. I've also promised DS2 more time in the new Lego shop in M'hall.

    Night all. x
