Little achieved, forming a bit of a habit.

    Have

    Been to Mr M
    Got petrol
Chased a debenhams return problem again - right peeved with them
    Walked DS3 to a friends
Made DS1 come with me to the glaziers to repair a mirror
Put one lot of washing on and off the line

Off to pick DS3 up next then dinner as DS2 is back at work at 7pm, I may do some flying after that.

Lamewolf - to make eggy bread just beat eggs, a splash of milk and salt and pepper (like omelette) then allow bread to absorb this (slice by slice) - and fry - aka gypsy toast in my family! I use a big, flat dish. Once the first slice is in the second can be absorbing the eggy mix.

Fry on each side until starting to brown;)

Fry in butter or oil to your taste.

 Cheers Valli. I'll have a go at doing that some time over the weekend - sounds tasty!

We've got the 2nd half of yesterday's lasagne tonight; Mr LW is on late shift, which effectively means he can get a last-minute job dumped on him that keeps him in the office til stoopid o'clock, so we plan for something I can just nuke, then if he's very late, I can go ahead and have mine.;)

Ted's got a pouch of chicken dinner tonight.:D

    Hello all;

Betty can I be cheeky and ask how you make eggy bread, please? It's something Mr LW has mentioned a time or two that his mum used to make when he was little - I hadn't particularly thought of doing it myself, but if someone here can tell me how it's done, maybe we can have some over the BH weekend.;)

Ted's arrived; but I think his owners packed his kit in a hurry, as he's come with no towel, and no dishes for his food and water. Not to worry - I've found some he can borrow.;) They've sent his food and treats, which is the important bit, and he's got his beanbag and a load of toys (including, can you believe, a fluffy flea with "bite me" stitched onto it).:rotfl: Oh yes, he's also got anti-flybotics, which I gather can be got down his neck easily if pressed into a bit of cheese.;)

I didn't achieve any other flying today but am pleased that I managed Mon-Thurs. Am off the paid stuff for over two weeks now, so possibly won't post very much and will do minimal flying. However, thanks to this thread I know that 2 weeks neglect won't really matter anymore, as there's no clutter and everything stays relatively neat and tidy all the time.

So BIG THANKS everyone who posts.

    Evening

Have had a bits n pieces day today. Nipped out this morning to stock up on some No 7 as the make up is half price at the min as its being rebranded so a few favourites stashed away. Have been sorting out the cupboards in what was DD' s old room, surprised how much stuff she let go and now I have a large cupboard to keep all the bed linen in, instead of in the drawer under spare bed. Have a few bags to take to tip but will wait until I have done a bit more decluttering in our room.

Bathroom was all done properly the other day so havent had to worry about that but will update the list once I go back on the other computer. Oh and I' ve changed our bed and even ironed the bed linen

Hope you all enjoy your Friday evening

Squeak was rammed full of porridge before bed so she has slept all night. Dot.. was rammed full of porridge and slept a bit, played a bit, kicked the sides of the cot a lot.. and generally made far too mich noise and 6:30 in the time to get up on a Saturday morning she thinks!

    Morning all

Woke early by a dream and then was concerned DS2 would not get up in time for work (too much overtime now I think) so have been up a while.

    Unloaded DW
    Fed mogs
Made a cuppa for DS2 and myself
    Renewed library books
    Checked next statement
    Deleted some emails

I intend to concentrate on paperwork and getting downstairs straight today and then the garden and food prep tomorrow.
