Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've done the dishes, or at least I've filled the drainer AGAIN and still more to do! This is because DD has been told multiple times this week to do a batch of dishes & I don't think she's done any so I'm playing catch up  I've also managed to clean all the small applicance that were out as DD seems incapable to wipe the sandwich toaster over when she's finished with it, and I used george to make sausage butties for breakfast :D

I then tackled the metal shelves in my kitchen. After emptying and temporarily attaching them to the wall (platted string, hook in a pre-existing hole, short wooden skewer & some gaffer tape later they no longer move - I'll attach them properly when I decorate the kitchen) I sorted all the stuff out, making it all clean and tidy and I've gained an entire shelf :D Between that and clearing out the cupboard/fridge/freezer earlier in the week its nice to know that somethings that were on the shopping list have been crossed off now :o

Just going to have some lunch and I'll get on with another HHC. :D

Dusty/Piggers, Is it really worth ebaying clothes n stuff. I have some bits including a never worn Roxy coat and just seem to see loads of stuff go for 99p. Hardly seems worth the effort. Tell me I'm wrong.
    [/QUOTE]

    Depends on:
How desperate you are for cash
how easy it is to post stuff
If you've got loads for free packing stuff
    How lucky you are.

TBH I only tend to list stuff with a starting price higher than 99p as I can't be bothered with it for such a small amount after fee from ebay and paypal. Not done any for ages. I do think if you have loads of smaller items and a decent car boot nearby it is easier and quicker to get rid there and you probably make more when you take into account the fees. I give nearly all books to the Oxfam bookshop as I can't be bothered with those. Lots of clothes I bag up for Oxfam to get the £5 off at M&S if I need to get something.

Hear that lovely sound? Yes it is silent in the Dustyhouse for they are all out and it is oh so lovely.:D

    And it's echoed here!;):D:D:D

Ds and DH are playing cricket, DD1 is at the charity shop, and although DD2 is in she is having a 'monster chilling day'......

She has the last of her mates' 18th birthday do tonight ... and I know she has a very sore throat... Me thinks we will be back to the quack on Tuesday...

Just finished my monthly clean-up and back-up of my desktop PC. I may have to think about getting rid of it soon, it's so old now, and getting flakier by the week!

Mr LW has been twitting on about wanting a new PC, so maybe we'll see about getting him one, and I'll have his current one.

We'll see - I have a new hearing aid to fund in the near future, so I'll have to see how the money situation is after that.
