not much achieved as i have just spent the last hr & a half recreating a scene from faulty towers. Go to print docs and batt goes on laptop, plug in charger, fizzle fizzle bang! charger thankfully not laptop. Daughters charger at a pals miles away. Use daughters lappy to print, hmmm not printing. 30 mins of google and apparently, thanks to my new broadband provider being pants and having to reset router 3 times a day, I have a new ip add that my wireless printer does not take kindly to. Set up again and it prints a load of gobbledygook so have to drive and grab daughters charger, get back and guess what? i'd ran out of paper  so back out and all sorted now but gosh what hard workThink I need a nap lol

URGH!!! ... the cat peeing on the window sill appears to have done a class job on the curtains too... they are now in the washer.. I may dislike senile cats! I just had to rub one of them dry too after they ran in dripping and yowling! Apparently a cat licking itself is hilariously funny.. according to Dot!
HHC anyone? until 4:15pm???
I'm off to play with the vacuum cleaner and the mop!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

It's still raining, and the WM load I posted about this morning is still in the washer I CBA to get it out and load it onto the airer lol in my defence AF is making her presence known and I feel quite not well.
I have however cleaned the bathroom, gathered some more washing together and been to Farmfoods to spend money on bread and sugar etc that was supposed to go towards my car tax next week, but what can you doI hate being poor.
Just having a brew then I might go and change littleys bedding (No, I STILL haven't done it) haha0 -

Ds and DH are playing cricket, DD1 is at the charity shop, and although DD2 is in she is having a 'monster chilling day'......
She has the last of her mates' 18th birthday do tonight ... and I know she has a very sore throat... Me thinks we will be back to the quack on Tuesday...
Didn't last here, game cancelled due to heavy downpour which flooded the pitch. DS3 had been called up for his first adult match (at 10 they are that short today) and was very excited
I've done a bit in the garden, sorted out my raspberries and blackcurrants. Lost my mojo now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have actually done everything I intended to today.
Weekly shop
Dog walk
Made granola
Made fudge (now have to wait till tomorrow for it to set in fridge)
That doesn't look like very much does it?!! I have also cleaned the fridge, menu planned for week, emptied bins, sorted two lots of washing and some washing up.
Just having a cuppa, then plan to do my nails and read my kindle.
Just me and DH at home for the whole long weekend, bliss.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
It took me until 11.00 am to even begin to feel human, aand then Mr and Mrs Dog decided that they needed to stick their nose into everything I wanted to do. Progress has now been made and I have managed to work through lots of dailies, gone through the fridge and veg box to find out what shouldn't be there (whoops), sorted out one basket from the freezer (only another ten to go) and had quick blitzes on the garden and outstanding admin. STill a very long way to go. Started raining here now.
Just need to pay a couple of bills then I'm going to do an HHI.Work is not my Hobby0 -

Ours made it through 35 overs before a downpour got it called off. Good result for our team as 6 or so of them were 'unavailable' (at the races?) and we'd called in the bloke next door who is 57! Said bloke did say our DS bowled well - opposition were 70-0 when he came on - and took the only 5 wickets to fall...:T.....
Still i got a bit of hoovering done. Said men now down the pub - I may yet get to watch the 20/20 final in peace....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Dinner done, 2 children out for sleep overs.. Tiddles is complaining she never goes to any (at 7!!)
Curtains smelling nice and hung back up, OH mopped kitchen.. and I now need to build a tesco list!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
