Hi everyone.
Ooh, well done to Dustylad and I hope everyone else getting results today gets the grades they want.:o
Derek & Clive have gone home; I need to Dys0n the lounge and kitchen again as they brought half a ton of the field in from their morning walk.
As Mr LW is wfh today, I may cajole him into doing it at lunchtime.;)
He's also promised to colour my hair for me later; it's a right mess atm, and if I don't do it today, it'll have to wait til after Ted's visit.
WM has been on, and Mr LW kindly hung the stuff out on the whirligig.
 I just remembered, I need to make some sort of cake; the tin is empty, and he'll want something for his lunchbox tomorrow. Oops.... thank goodness for this thread, it was only typing this post that reminded me!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Good morning everyone, :hello: hope you are all well, I am back & chilled & relaxed, had a fabulous holiday. Came home, picked up new kitten, DS started school on Monday, I was back to work on Tuesday. I am not sure if I will get any of the lists done this week, still trying to settle into the new routine with DS starting school, I have also tweaked my working hours a little, my boss informed me I am now working 38.1 hours instead of 40 hours!!! He is so anal about those things! I got all 10 loads of holiday clothes washed & dried last week, still some unpacking to do so my room is a mess. House is basically tidy but in need of a deep clean & serious decluttering of cupboards/drawers! I plan to get totally stuck in this weekend to the house & the mountain of ironing although our wee kitten is proving a big distraction!!! I won’t have a chance to read back but here is my listy for now, all extras deleted this week!

Make dinner
Print off bits and bobs pertaining to upcoming short holiday
Collect train tickets
Sort out clean laundry
Renew car insurance (already compared meerkats and confused singing blokes)

LR is now hoovered and dusted, cleaned the two bottom windows (I have very high Sash-type windows, so there is no way I can reach the top two
)... also, since I am four floors up, I am yet to figure out how I can get the outsides cleaned....
Various gibble and childlike detrius has been rehomed or binned.
Im off into the bedroom now for HHC and then will do some ironing with an episode of Greys I think
That will only leave the sproglets room to be done and some more unpacking in the study... however I am not sure if I should just wait until I buy the next new bookcase for the study and then that way, the stuff I unpack, will actually have a place to go.... Or am I just procrastinating and avoiding the unpacking??

Well done to your son Dusty
Mixed results here B Science,A History,D Maths I thought he was getting some final ones but these seem to be units. I don't understand how this all works in my day you took 1 lot of O'levels at the end of the 5th year and that was it. He came back with 2 friends 1 of which had been too scared to get his results.I tried to persuade him to go and get them but he didn't want to. They have now gone in to the City centre to celebrate DS1's A.
Wm has been on, DS2 bed changed and in TD, airing cupboard emptied.
After lunch I'm going to climb ironing mountain.0 -
Hi flyers
WellI took DS1 to his first day at college this morning he was really nervous but he'll be fine. Then I dropped DD at school and she told me to leave her at the path as she want to walk to the gates herself, so I'm totally depressed my babies are growing too quick for my liking:(:( On a happier not as DS1 is only 15 he will get a bus pass to go to college so I don't need to fork out the bus fares I thought I would have to yesterday:money:
Well done to Master Dusty :j:T:j:T
Piggers I hope the late arrival of AF has got a pitter patter after it:eek::rotfl:
Suppose I really should get started
