Im not sure Team Lowe. I tend to get ewcm before ov and never after.
But it can definitely take a day or two to properly dry up so to speak.
Its hard though because when you have irregular cycles and dont know when you are going to ovulate, simply bding all the time is frankly too tiring!
Were going to go for it this month but I know we'll do it about 3 times and both be knackered!0 -
i think it's an afternoon of googling for the both of us Code!
I suppose it makes sense, there's nothing textbook about my body so why would my cm be? lol
Claire that's the thing- i always thought it was ewcm ewcm ewcm ewcm OV no ewcm, like completely dried up straight away but if you're saying you get it a bit after Ov too...hmmm...going to go back and scrutinise my charts, i'm sure there's a couple of times i've had a temp dip and ignored it because of ewcm lol
and yeah, it's the most fustrating part, DH is really up for it just after AF but his enthusiasm wanes. though i've been told after Monday that he has definitely shut up shop for the forseeable future lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words and hugs regarding my post yesterday.
I have my long awaited appointment with my new GP tomorrow morning. I saw her for the first time towards the end of November and she mentioned referring me to the fertility clinic. She said to lose some weight and see her again mid January. So here I am (slightly less of me thanks to Slimming World). To be honest I’m a bit torn about the appointment tomorrow. On the one hand I feel positive about it and I’m grateful that she seems to want to help me. But on the other hand there’s a part of me that doesn’t believe I’ll actually get any help. I’m really overweight and my understanding is that the NHS won’t do anything to help fertility wise if you’re overweight (and I can completely understand the logic here). I’m obviously in the process of losing weight but I’m a long way off where I should be. I’m a bit paranoid and think she might have changed her mind since I last saw her and decide that my weight is an issue. Or even if she does refer me what’s to stop the fertility consultant from turning me away for being overweight. Also she’s told me to say that we’ve been trying for 3 years. That’s not true. In April it will be two years. So then I’m paranoid this lie will come to light.0 -
Hi Fannyanna,
The truth is that you won't know if you can get help until you try. I think the fact that you have made the effort to lose a significant amount of weight since you first saw your GP shows your commitment. The fact is that being overweight or under weight can mess up your hormones, both your reproductive ones and your digestive ones. Don't just think of how the doctor can help you get pregnant, try to see it as a much bigger picture; you need to be as healthy as possible to not only concieve but to carry a baby, look after a baby and survive long enough to make sure your chid can take care of itself. The doctors should be willing to help anyone who is putting in the kind of effort that you have. Of course you are deserving of their help and if anyone tells you otherwise then get a better doctor.
There is no reason that they should deny you tests to make sure both you and you OH are both working properly not matter what your weight. Knowing that my tubes are clear and my OH sperm are normal and that FF confirms I am ovulating makes it easier to keep on trying month after month. Each month I don't get knocked up is another chance to get myself healthy enough for the pregnancy and the years of child raising to come.
You may not be eligable for IVF type treatments yet but as the docs help you to get healthier you might not need them.
ps. sorry for any typos. Just finished work and am too lazy to spell check:p0 -

Sorry when I say I get it a bit after ov, I mean that I get sticky cm after. Not ewcm. Then it carries on a bit creamy/sticky on and off right up until maybe 2 days before af when its completely gone. God that sounds gross typing that lol!0 -
I think firefly has useful advice fannyanna.
Even if you cant get the treatment right now, it seems like there is no reason why you cant ask to be tested for anything wrong, and in the mean time keep loosing the weight, and then you will be atleast accomplishing both of those goals at once.
It seems from here that even once you start the ball rolling there is a lot of time in between appointments, so more time to get healthier and show to them that you mean it!0 -
I'm not sure, think it maybe positive. OH says 'have you got your period', 'no', 'well you're pregnant then!'. LOL if only it was that easy.
sorry if it makes the page huge!0 -

I have a twin pack of digis, might wait until morning to use it. Would a digi work this evening? The faint line is pinky which I think makes it more of a positive than an evap line. I do drink loads too! Only just did it now.
Good luck with the appointment fannyanna and well done on the weight loss.0
