Becca, QQ used to drop anyone with cd over 100, unless they were an active poster, off the list. If they want re adding, they'll pop their heads up ;)

PV, there's rumours about something in brazil nuts helping with implantation I think it was

Birdie, that's the pattern CBFM will ALWAYS give you after declaring a peak. It won't change it's mind or tell you anything other than a second peak, a high, then a low. It's not confirmation that ovulation happened either, so if you think it's unusually early in your cycle, keep bd'ing. Cbfm can get fooled by a surge that doesn't manage to pop an egg out, just the same as a normal opk can. (It only likes asking for multiples of 10 sticks too, but you can ignore it for a few days at the beginning of your cycle and it'll still ask the next day) Don't want you to put too much faith in it and be disappointed afterwards :o it's why I didn't use/trust a cbfm til my cycles cut down

    Cd1 for me again

At least I did ov, I guess, and clomid is still doing it's thing, even if CBFM can't pick it up anymore  bit concerned that I seem to have a 9 day LP even on clomid, but meh - not even convinced my tubes are fully functional, so what's a day or two between friends...

I feel rubbish, inside and out :(

  • Hugs BigZippy. Have you had your tubes checked or anything? Is it an option to ask the doctor to get checked? At least it'd be a worry off your mind = less stress and better chance of conceiving?

    Nope!

Maybe take them off so it will be quicker for you to update the lists? They can always come back & ask to be added again.

I've read the thing about the pineapple core and implantation - I did try doing that when I was in Hawaii and I did get a bfp but I'm sure the same thing says to not eat the rest of the pineapple because it can prevent implantation - which I did lol! Plus then no one in Hawaii would ever get pregnant! So I think that's probably rubbish.

Not heard about the white grape juice only grapefruit juice to help with ewcm.

Aspirin is a weird one - I think it's supposed to help prevent a miscarriage if you have some kind of blood disorder? Not really sure what one though. Plus when you get pregnant they tell you not to take aspirin! (Unless you have that problem) I'm sure someone else will know more!
Being brief as on my iPod but if you have a blood clotting disorder aspirin alone won't be enough to make a difference, and if you don't it won't make any difference to your risk of miscarriage. However if taking it gives you peace of mind then it won't do any harm but essentially it is pointless. HTH

Hello lovely ladies ( and gentleman!)
I've been a bit quiet recently- it's probably because I have absolutely no news lol.

Big hugs T2D. Lovely to hear from you. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you xx

Hi Jovie. I'm no expert in BBT charts but lots of different things can affect your temps (temping at different times, sleeping with your mouth open, change in sleep pattern etc.) I think it's hard to say if it's an implantation dip until you get to the end of your cycle or have other cycles to compare the data to IYSWIM? Fingers crossed it is though... ;)

Thanks tea :-) I only started temping mid way through my last cycle so cant really compare. I got a tiny bit of spotting today too which never happens.Finding it really hard not to SS!! :o

3 cycles down, 3 to go.

Not an option, they've done whatever they can already (they were totally blocked on hsg last year, had surgery and found endometriosis etc) but no guarantee of success. If the next 3 clomid cycles do nothing (and I'm the required bmi) then they'll be referring me straight for IVF at the next appointment, which feels inevitable and scary atm.

  • I'm sorry to hear that bigzippy. I really hope that the surgery and clomid work and you get a BFP before your next appointment.

We have our first 'secondary' infertility appointment on Tuesday and I feel physically sick at the idea that IVF might be an option raised- I don't think I'm mentally strong enough to go through it.

    good luck jovie.

In my endless googling (I'm sure that the solution lies out there and there's some magic remedy and all I need to do is find it) I came across this and it sums up everything I feel.
