Lol about the quail too! Hope you've all had good weekends so far.
Nothing to report here. This month we've been BDing every other day between CD 10 - 19. Those are random dates in between lots of family and work trips, so I hope OV might have been in the middle there somewhere
Reckoning it's the TWW now, with AF due on Wednesday. Trying not to think about TTC until AF is late. It's hard but keeping me from SS, and stressing out.
Hope you're all doing good:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Well I've been directed here from the those who are waiting thread as my OH and I are ntnp. OH and I have been ntnp since August 2012. This is cycle 7 of ntnp from my calculations. My cycles are 24-28 days long and I believe I am now 5cd today. This is my first cycle of temping. We are both taking multivitamins. The reason we are ntnp is that OH is still unsure about properly trying, it's a stress thing I think, but is fine if it does happen. Even though we are saying ntnp we are doing basically everything that you would do if ttc. Our veiw being if it does happen we want to have a good starting point with not worrying we did something wrong.

Happy weekend all! Just checking in- still in the chocolate and wine club. Oh, that's right, I don't drink and i'm dieting so no chocolate lol. Can I be in my own little category?
DH and myself started on the conception vitamins this month and I started taking 1000mg evening primrose oil and will do so every day until ovulation. See if it makes any difference. How many cycles should I give it until I 'may' see a difference?
Hope all is well. Welcome to the newbies x hugs to all xDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -

Think the general rule is 3 cycles. But hopefully you won't have to wait that long.
Just back from the cinema. We went to see Les Mis which was brilliant once you got past Russell Crowe being pretty bad. He acted ok but his singing wasn't brilliant. Also they messed up my favourite death scene.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Hi January welcome to the thread - so are you pretty much saying youre ttcing but your DH just doesnt quite know it? :rotfl:good idea if it keeps him happy
Codemonkey - when you say your DH isnt up for testing what do you mean? Sorry if youve already written about it. Is it that youve made appts and he 'forgets' to go to them type thing, or just out right refuses?
My DH is terrible for going to the drs about anything, so I ring up and make the appt for him, or nag him incessantly for about 10 mins and give him the phone and he gives in and then forgets about it. I know men can be really sensitive when it comes to testing sperm but is there some way you can encourage [STRIKE]make[/STRIKE] him?
Vesper - perhaps you should both go to the drs, if for no other reason that to possibly put your mind at rest - either because there's nothing wrong, or because there is but its something you can treat. Sometimes the unknown is the scariest part.
Firefly - yay for the weight loss - do it in pounds it looks better than kg :rotfl:
Becca - when did you move house? Thats exciting!0 -

Oddly enough that is basically the agreement at the moment. He's fine with me doing everything except ov sticks to do this, he is even fine with me reminding him to take his multivit. I don't tell him what's going on to do with my cycle etc and he doesn't stress and is happy.
Crazy but it works as in his mind it's ntnp, if it happens so be it, lol. I don't see his logic but oh well.

To those who use conceive plus, are you meant to use it a few days before OV? I should hopefully OV any day now but wasn't going to use conceive plus until the BD day before, day off & day after OV?

That's pretty funny as in some ways temping is more accurate although using the opks does give you an advance warning. Oh well he doesn't have to know you wil hopefully be able to predict it from checking cm too! Mwahahaha! Plus once you've temped a few cycles you can sometimes use it to predict ov anyway!
Hehe that's funny that's on your list0 -
oh well, usual pre-AF spottingEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
