It has made it so I wait until my af arrives rather than testing every 2 days and seeing symptoms in every twinge. Not that I'm saying there's any problem with that, so hope no one takes it the wrong way.

vesper, if it helps any I know exactly how you're feeling. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting different results and that's where I'm at. Frustrated and fed up and not understanding why it's just not happened. At a certain point I know we're (me and DH) going to need medical intervention but my tests have been fine and DH isn't up for testing.

I have a rather upset stomach tonight. The wine was not a good idea.

Apparently some studies have found a link between identical twins and the male line. It's thought that there might be a quality in the sperm that causes the egg to split once it's fertilised. It's pretty inconclusive though - just an interesting fertility factoid.

I looked after a lady who'd had identical (adorable) twins a couple of weeks ago... the midwife started telling her not to worry, that they didn't run in families, etc.... it turned out her sister, cousin and aunt all had identical twins :rotfl: Something definitely in the water!

Abis - If you are still keeping track I have lost 1kg. Hoped for a little more when I weighed myself on Wedneday and was one kg down but my body just doesn't want to be an over achiever:p Hope everyone elses weightloss/fitness is going ok:)

Not looking forward to next week. My af is due on the 16th which is exactly a year to the day that we got my implant out and started trying. Think I might allow myself a little chocolate on that day.

I don't hold out much hope of being pregnant this cycle. I have got it in my head that I won't get pregnant until my BMI reaches just below 30 so I guess that is great motivation to keep going with the weightloss and fitness.

Hello there, sorry I haven't been in much this week-its been manic in the lemonmelon household. OH has had manflu I got told on Thursday I had an interview for a promotion on Friday (less than 24 hours notice) and it was awful. Also did a sneaky test as I'm cd 28 today anf kast month only got to 24 but it was a BFN, no sign of af though. Got to go now as I'm late to cook a quail but will catch up properly later :-)

I love this sentence! Am picturing a quail sitting in a pan looking at its watch and tapping its foot.

Happy weekend ladies!

My temperature finally went up this morning so could I be updated to 1dpo please Becca? I agree with everyone else, you're doing a fabulous job with the lists! I Ov'd 2 days later than last month so am expecting a 30 day cycle which means AF will be due on the weekend that OH and I are away for a couple of nights. Might take a HPT with me just in case the witch doesnt show! Will let you know nearer the time if I want to go on the testing list.

Feeling quite positive this month, we did loads of BDing for us! Although some was a little early as I was expecting to OV earlier in the week. OH has been a trooper though, never thought he would be this cooperative!

Found a copy of "What To Expect When You're Expecting" in a charity shop for £4 today. I picked it up and told OH "I want to get this but i'm afraid it might jinx us!" He said that you can't live your life like that and I should get it. So in a massive display of PMA I went and bought it. It shall be confined to a drawer until we get our BFP, I hope it's not in there too long!!
