    Miffy - updated you x

I would love twins Mrs_T_M - how lucky they run in your family! x

COMP hugs for CD1. We are here for good times and bad so please feel free to vent on here, we all do xx

My CBFM also gave me a high on CD8 this month Birdie, I think it's a good sign as it means your hormone levels are good :) really hope it works for you. Sorry to hear you were sad, it's so hard when a baby is that close and you can't just ignore it.

Welcome bride2be - would you like adding to the list? If so, just let me know what Cycle Day you are on.

Hugs to you Code, fingers crossed she stays away :) That is amazing that implantation can take 3 days - the body is really an amazing thing xx

Claire how are you doing? xx
Have a scan on Sunday for my possible PCOS. Birdie and Amy - how long did they say for your results?

Hello all. Quick question. When do you stop BD after ovulation? I BD'd two days ago, yesterday and today (o-day). Should I also do it tomorrow? What about the day after?
I'd like to think I have enough sperm in me now to catch the egg, as they live two days, but is it a case of the more the merrier?
    thanks

The SMEP system says to BD every other day from CD 8 until LH surge (I don;t POAS so I do it till EWCM) then three days in a row, then rest one day, then BD again. And also BD mid-cycle to freshen up the swimmers!!

So I would do it today, rest tomorrow then do it again on Sunday.

The months we have SMEPed are the months we have got PG. It does seem to be an effective system,a lthough we start on day 12 as I don't OV usually till 14 or 16 and it is too much Bding for us! :rotfl:

Hi ladies, Hugs COMP for cd1.

Went for my blood test this morning - cd22 and only 3 or 4dpo but the doctor told me to do it on cd21 despite me saying I wont be 7dpo so I know it wn't show what it's supposed too. Ah well, going back on weds to discuss results so will see what happens then.

Sooo glad its friday - have a glass of wine in hand even though its the 2ww - I'm sick of living my life on hold 'just in case' so wine it is!!

Informative post skint chick! I'd love to have bigger boobs especially knowing you could breast feed afterwards as I am really keen on that, but even though I'm kind of now over my fear of having a GA after having to have it for the d&c, I think id be terrified of them making them look awful or something! I think I've read too many 'surgery gone wrong' type articles I'm magazines! :) maybe ill see what my boobs are like after having kids & then see how I feel!

    Pregnancy makes them sag, sadly.

If you have then under the muscle and a sensible size they look totally natural - no-one ever realises mine aren't real.

Skintchick - very informative post. It still upsets me to this day that I tried and tried to bf, but it wasn't happening. I was practically begging the community mw for help but it wasn't there. If I'm lucky enough to have a second child, I really do think I may just go straight to bottles, as the first couple of weeks of my DD's life was really marred by this experience. Anyway, onwards and upwards! I'd love bigger boobs :)
    .

That makes me so mad! There is loads of help and the MW should have helped you. There are helplines as well as lots of local support groups run by charities like BfN, LLL, ABM.

Next time google breastfeeding support and bypass the MW if she's not helpful.

    :)

Miffy - I understand what you mean. My son wasn't interested at all in breast-feeding despite me being quite keen to try. When I have another baby I would like to try again...saying that I would also quite like to just have a normal birth but things don't always go to plan!

That's hard. Sometimes babies need some help in realising what they're supposed to do, believe it or not. As I said there are loads of helplines and support groups so if you do want to do it next time then you can get in touch with them.

    :)

I've put a ranty post in the miscarriage thread but suffice to say: insensitive thoughtless people who plaster scan pics with a zillion excalamation marks on Facebook should be SHOT. They know I've had five miscarriages, did it not occur to them to let me know quietly in advance?!?

    Hello ladies (and gent) :hello:

Hugs for COMP - you can share on here. We're here for the good, bad and the ugly. It helps me to write it down and have people who understand read it. In RL very few people get it cos they haven't been through it.

Hugs Skint - I think sometimes people just don't realise how to broach a subject like that so they ignore it. My friend text me, which at first I was like really?! But then afterwards when I thought about it I really appreciated it cos I had chance to adjust to the news and have a cry in private before I had to see her, and it was easy enough to type back congratulations between sobs. :o

Code - Fingers crossed its an implant bleed. I had one last time, but not with DD.

Elsie - I'm about the same in the 2ww now. Altho I still am funny over some things :o I think you do relax over time tho after doing all the 'right' things month in month out and it not working. Hope yr results go ok. I had mine at 3dpo and it couldn't confirm ov even tho there was a definate rise in progesterone - so I'm having to retest this month at 7DPO but I get to determine when that is from my tracking.

Becca - Did you do a HPT? Thank you so much for doing the lists. Are you getting fed up of doing them yet? I think we said we would take it in turns only you seem to have had a really long turn :o:o:o

I can't remember who was asking about breast reductions, but my mum had one and it worked out brilliantly. She did it after having all her children tho.

AFM - Awaiting ov still. Its dull :o CD16 so might be a week or 2 yet >sigh< I have a poorly kitten and DH has a poorly car so it seems to me mirroring our situation last February/March which is when I got my BFP. All I need is to get poo'd on by a seagul on ov day and bobs your uncle :rotfl::rotfl:

Hows everyones exercise and healthy eating going?

I did zumba the other night so v proud of that :T And I biked to work twice this week and walked once. Its a mile each way so thats a good start. Hoping to go swimming tomorrow, but have 3 facepainting jobs over the weekend plus some accounts and tax work to be doing so time might be a little short. Will see how I feel when I wake up. I haven't weighed myself yet which is a personal achievment as usually I weigh myself daily when dieting and then give up if I aren't losing weight quickly enough.

My grandmother and grandfather on my dads side were both from sets of twins, and two of my aunts are twins on my dads side. I'm the only one in my 'generation' of the family who hasn't had kids yet. Oh well, if I do end up with twins, that's why we have two boobs right?

Had about half an hour of severe cramping and I'm peeing for England. The peeing so much is because I've upped my water intake to help flush fat out of my system (well, actually the toxins that have been trapped in the fat that I'm now burning off).

In the tub today I noticed that my chest is breaking out in spots! I haven't had spots in nearly 4 years except on my chin when I'm ov'ing! Did a mud mask (ahhhh, the self warming kind too!) and relaxed for the rest of the day after the bath.

Have a scan on Sunday for my possible PCOS. Birdie and Amy - how long did they say for your results?

Ive had a really up and down day.

I quit my job after the miscarriage because I didnt want to go back there after maternity anyway so I figured I may as well start looking for the job in the other field I want to work in now. Which Ive done and pretty much had a job offer already but today I thought it had all gone wrong (which I found out this evening it hadnt and I may now have two jobs on offer!) but it made me feel really low and I was crying a little bit this morning about the baby again because I just feel like at the moment, any knock just hits me 10 times harder.

I hope your scan goes well, hopefully you wont have pcos.

Although - they told me I dont have pcos because when I had the ultrasound there were no cysts when I asked about it after the mc. So now my irregular periods are unexplained so Im not sure if Id rather have an idea of why actually! But so glad I asked as I just thought about it when I was talking to the dr about trying again and I brought it up, so it was lucky really otherwise Id still have no clue.

Yes I normally dont ovulate til day 20 odd and once day 39 so there is no way I could keep that up :rotfl:

I think Id adjust and start at day 17 or something!

Yeah thats what Id want something natural looking. I dont think I could get anything over a C because Im quite a small person.

Ive watched a few programmes on breast feeding and it seems that in a lot of cases the midwide is the worst person to ask for advice. My friend had a lot of hassle of them when she just had her baby and they made her feel awful when she was having trouble, when they could have been supportive instead as she was really trying.

One show I watched, the lady went to a group type thing at a community centre and there was a lady there who was helping them all and she was much better at getting the babies to latch on. Im not sure what her background was.

I will go to the mc thread to read your other post. I have to say, hopefully when I get pg again there is no way I am putting scan pics on facebook.
