Thanks also for all the info on AC - I'm going to get some. I did quite a lot of reading last night and some reckon it can take up to 3 months to take effect. I just need to feel like I'm doing something!

Well i'm not having a very good end to the year... after driving through a rather deep flood last week (couldn't be helped) my car gave up the ghost the following day and has been in the garage ever since. I've just been given the bad news today that it is a write-off and will have to be scrapped!
I cried like a baby when I heard - I was so attached to that car!
So now I'll be starting the new year without a car which isnt great - my offices at the moment are in the middle of nowhere so I've had to call my dad to give me a lift in when I go back on Weds!
I'm desperately looking for another car now but my budget isn't huge so I'll be lucky if I find anything decent - could really do with finding one by the weekend at the latest as I cant get my dad to drive me to work every day!!

Really didnt think this is how I'd be starting 2013!! I've seen a couple of cheap convertibles on Autotrader which I thought would be nice but then hubby reminds me how impractible they'd be if we had kids.... :rotfl:
If this baby never comes I'm buying the flashiest, fasted car you've ever seen!!!

We are going out for pizza later and then we have some booze for later when we get back home so I can drown my sorrows whilst watching Jools Holland!!

What is everyone else up to tonight! Wishing you all a very happy 2013 - may it bring the patter of tiny feet for us all!!! :rotfl:

Hi ladies

A very happy new year to you all!

We have been away at DH's sister's wedding in Scotland and have had a wonderful couple of days but are so exhausted now, we're staying in tonight with a few drinks and having a quiet one.

I still have a few pages to catch up on, but I see a few people were talking about agnus castus. When I came off Depo in October 2011 it was recommended to me to start my cycle back up. I know quite a few people who didn't have a period for a year or so after coming off depo but mine started again in February, only four months after my last injection wore off, and immediately I had an almost regular cycle (always 29-32 days) which is the most regular it has ever been and I definitely attribute this to the AC. I'm still taking it from CD1 up to ov every month although I'm not sure I still need it. Becca, I definiitely think they would be beneficial for you.

I also take evening primrose which I think has made my period pain a lot more bearable, I still suffer but not to thepoint that I actually have to write off whole day every month and my skin is also much better.

Mrs TM, I bought that knitting book for a friend who wanted to learn to knit and she said it was fantastic what have you made so far? I'm working on a sock at the moment. I used to have a real sock knitting addiction

Squ1rrel, so sorry about yourcar my own car met a similar end earlier this yearand honestly he was more like a family pet than a car, I bawled my eyes out and I still miss him!

How weird tesco must sell two types? And the smaller Dose is a bigger tablet how silly!

I think it would cost you as much to post them to me as for me to buy some (if I can track them down!) but thanks so much for the offer very kind of you!

Plus I'm hoping to have a miracle of some normal cycles before I resort to taking more tablets. I think I had about 4 cycles in 12 months that were an ok length so I will wait and see.

Squirrel tempt fate & go for the flash car! I just got a new car, the guy gave me a teddy bear (because he found out I was pregnant as my dad tried to get a new car seat thrown in as he was with me when I was bargaining over the price). They couldn't do it- but I am so pleased now as the last thing I want in my house is a baby car seat & no baby!! I can just about deal with the teddy bear as it looks nice sat on our wicker washing basket lol x
