Vic - Cross posted. You could go and have your blood test tomorrow. Tell them that you think you are 0dpo and they will probably rebook another test for a weeks time. Or you could just call them in the morning and ask them if they would prefer to wait another week.:)

I used OPKs and am 98% sure I ov-ed when I think I did (my usual dark second line on cd14, darker than control second line on cd15, back to faint line on cd16). Going to start temping next month so I can be definitely sure.

Firefly - soy has done nothing much for me either, I ovulated a few days early but my cycle is still never ending. Joys!

Hmm weird. Yes I agree start temping then you'll know for sure! That way if you get a LH surge but don't ovulate and it happens say a week later but at the moment you wouldn't know that, you won't be going mad wondering where AF or your bfp is.

Really hope next month works out better for you. Or that this month your bfp is just being really sneaky!

I wanted to try soy but those tablets are like 4 times the size of anything I can swallow tablet wise! X

Do you only have a 7 day luteal phase? Or are you just ovulating later this cycle and therefore you won't get AF for another 2 weeks?

I agree with fire fly, go tomorrow say its cd21 but actually you don't think your going to ovulate til tomorrow so should you go back in a week instead as well.

Claire - try the tesco soy ones if you want to try. They are normal sized ones (80mg) and the plastic coated ones so easy to swallow! They haven't worked wonders for me but was worth a go!

Vic - As I said before, go tomorrow and don't mention anything about ovulating. The best thing you can do is have the blood test, let it show low progestrone and that will start you in the NHS system
If AF does start a week tomorrow and your tests show low prog you will know you either have an LPD or you arn't ovulating both of which you will need help with.

These stupid bloody tests don't work for people with insufficient luteal phases.


Becca - I can't see you being 23DPO and still getting BFN's. An LH surge doesn't automatically mean ovulation and if you aren't temping either then it's hard to know for sure. Have you done any OPK's since then? When did you used to ovulate and was CD14 unusually early?
