Thank you x I know - I just can't do this to myself every month, it's driving me insane. I could cry and cry, I'm just so fed up. Wish I had normal cycles so when I got that BFN then AF would show up pretty soon afterwards. I'm 22DPO!!!

Congrats NoAngel - lovely to see another BFP for December.

Hugs becca. There are so many really hard days. The one very minor advantage of this whole cancer malarky is that I have to step away from trying for a while, and it's actually been good to not be so stressed about it all the time. I'll probably do something stupid now and get pregnant! Although... due to my current medical ban on BD'ing, it will have to be another immaculate conception at this stage!

I have put a few updates on the +12m thread, but really nothing is happening with me. I have my scans (MRI and CT) on Monday, and first IVF meeting on Wednesday to start the egg collection cycle. Then the following week the multi disciplinary group will meet to plan my treatment for the cancer. I'm quite optimistic about it all now, which means I am probably heading for a fall. I think DH is slightly worried about my level of denial, but I need something to hang on to!

I'm still lurking all the time - wishing everyone the best of 2013 baby luck!

Yes please TTC #1 since 2011 (we were trying but not really before this, if this makes sense)

My periods for the last couple of months have been slightly irregular

Aug - Sept - 30 days
Sept - Oct - 34 days
Oct - Nov - 35 days
Nov - Dec - 45 days

I use the period tracker and the my days x apps on my phone, which have now said that my cycle is now 38 days. This has now messed up my ovulation days, should I stick to the 38 days for my cycle when calculating my ovulation days?

Sorry I've been lurking and not really replying - it's been a combination of horrible work scheduling, manic assignment writing and generally feeling a bit down in the dumps about it all. So, so pleased to see the BFPs and TLPs on the thread in the last few days... have been reading at work and wanting to do a little happy dance for you all!

T2D, I'm going to pop over to the other thread to see how you're getting along - but you sound so positive and determined on here, it makes me want to give you a big dodgy hug, so here it is! :grouphug: Glad to hear that your DH is looking after you well, and I hope you have a swift and uneventful recovery, and some little miracles from your eggies.

Becca - huge hugs hun We've all been there but it doesn't make it any less painful. We're here if you want to talk / vent, and I hope 2013 is the year for you... there's lots of positivity on the thread at the moment, so let's hope it pays off with some lovely New Year BFPs.

Amus, I don't want to say too much, just in case, but that looks very much like a TLP for me. I hope you have wonderful news in the morning and can't wait to see the pictures!

Afm, It's been a tough couple of weeks at work, with a particularly unpleasant social services case playing out over Christmas so didn't want to lower the mood On the plus side, I worked Christmas eve night / Christmas day morning so got to cuddle lots of little ones over the holidays, as well as spending lots of time with my lovely neice and nephew.

Sorry for all those I've missed - there are just too many this time, but I may return after a fortifying cup of tea!

My cycles were all over the place until a few months ago. I found that I couldn't correctly predict when I would ovulate so I started temping and doing ovulation tests. That confirmed that I am ovulating (I hope!)
Do you mind me asking how long your cycles have been irregular for? Have you just come off the pill?

Hi thanks for the welcome, I have been off the pill over 2 years now. My periods had been regular until the last few months. It was always a 30 day cycle. I need to have blood tests done to see if everything is alright and 2 tests have to be done on certain days, 1 on the 2nd day of your period and one on the 21st. Will have to do these next month, as I couldnt get to the hospital on xmas day.
