Off shopping with DH to buy some new clothes today, very excited, haven't really treated ourselves since we were saving for the wedding and then honeymoon.

Lemonmelon - I once dreamt that I gave birth to a teeny tiny tropical fish (I was heavily pregnant with DD at the time) and that it started bleeding from the mouth and then died. I was traumatised for ages that I was gonna be rubbish at everything!! How on earth my subconcious thinks of these stupid ideas I have no idea :rotfl: I like the thought of an apple n cinammon cake tho. I've just had a herman cake a few weeks back (google if you aren't sure what it is) and I made the apple n cinammon version. :drool:

I did my test and it was a BFN on a FRER this morning. So am safe to drink tonight at the wedding :beer: I have no idea when I am due or if I am gonna have an extra long cycle or what :huh: I have ov'd on CD29 before, so thats not out the way. I thought it would be unusual to be due AF at this stage of the cycle, but I have no idea what my cycles are like post m/c. We've BD'd every 3-4 days or so, so theres a chance of catching eggys still. Will test again next monday if no AF by then.

Ooh I did the Herman a few months ago but I made the chocolate version and we didnt like it which was a shame after having in the kitchen for a week!

Thats funny youve been to Ascot for the races and I havent :rotfl: I guess thats often the case with places around your local area.

Yes, my CBFM arrived in the post today in perfect time as I am on day 5 so it's set up now.
The one I got on ebay doesn't have faces though, just a scale on the left with a funny round symbol with a dot for high. Is this quite an old model?? Don't suppose it matters so long as it works...
The sticks with it are out of date but only by one month. I assume I should be okay to use those??? There is about 14 with it.....
Oh, I am soo excited!!!! Easily pleased or what!!!!

Was thinking of buying the CBFM myself. Were did you get yours coops?

Have been looking ebay etc but just wondered if it would be reliable enough 2nd hand?

My cycles are irregular and the ovulation sticks dont work for me. Would this be a good purchase?

Abis - no counselling offered, no. I'm looking into getting dh set up with a private counsellor though. We did ask for one through the gp and he's seen him about 3 times (they only allocate you 6 sessions though) but the guy has asked dh the same (painful) questions each time (i.e. Do you have kids?) so he clearly doesn't remember enough about dh's case to be much use, and dh comes away more upset than he went in :cool:

The waiting list for Assisted Conception is 18 weeks here, but I'm wondering if they'll tweak it to coincide with my surgery... Time will tell. My FS appointment is next week (longest 2/3ww ever).

I'm on the Clearblue trial so have a CBFM but haven't got to use it yet...so next cycle will be my first attempt at using it. Quite looking forward to it! I'm hoping it will take the guess work out of OPKs!
