  • massive massive hugs comp, hope you're okay. No its not silly at all- I've kept the positive tests from my m/cs, even the digis which now just show a blank screen. wehn I'm feeling really rubbish they remind me that I can do this and I will get pregnant again, and also that I grew something real, even if it was only for a little while there was more than just me. I'm not sure if that makes sense outside my head though. Thinking of you lots today

Thinking of you COMP, doesn't sounds daft at all :o

    Congratulations mrsj :)

AFM: DH is really struggling. I'm not sure if he's got enough left in the tank, after losing his mum and the circumstances beforehand, to do fertilty/assisted conception battle too/so soon. I think if we get offered much more than a (unlikely) speedy surgery, we may have to push it back anyway for DH's sanity's sake...! Also sick of the continual bleeding/spotting & cramps, in spite of being on progesterone & with it's wonderful side effects

I'm starting to think this is a chemical. no AF, but still no more hints of positive results. But that line was definitely not an evap. THIS is why I don't normally test early - if I hadn't, I'd just think AF was late, and wouldn't be upset by 'losing' a positive test result.Does that make sense?

They do say its at least 50% of potential pregnancies are lost (they reckon its likely even higher than that as most women dont test early enough to know) before a woman even knows her period is late. Ive had a couple of 'false' positives that never materialised when testing too early (before AF was due).

I think perhaps some of the tests these days are perhaps too sensitive and may sometimes detect natural levels of HCG, even though they say it shouldnt happen!
