    MV congratulations. All the best

Becca0417 could you please put me down in the 2ww list as 9 dpo rather than cd21. Had a good few BD around OV so gonna test around the weekend when I'll be 14 dpo or await AF on Monday Ta

  • I can't believe that people do that on youtube:eek:

MV - Very very happy for you. I hope your doc is more supportive this time and you get to relax and enjoy your pregnancy:D Angeltreats is right, we are all cheering on your bean MV;)

afm. Take my last dose of soy tonight and then let the ovulation guessing game begin. I really hope the soy makes a difference this month. Even if it just shortens my cycle I will have a few more 'tries' each year.

In the absence of qq, I'm going to come in with the wagging finger. You shouldn't really test until 14dpo because implantation can occur from 6dpo - 12dpo and it takes a few days for hcg to get into your system. So unless you want to waste tests or depress yourself with multiple bfns then you shouldn't really test until you're late. I know this from bitter experience. Allowances can be made from 12dpo if you have a night out or something.

    No testing at 9dpo.

Speaking of soy... I was chatting to a colleague today who hasn't seen AF for 4 months (since she came off the pill). She has pcos and would like to start ttc. I said that Agnus Castus has worked for me this month (ie I O'd), but also mentioned Soy.

Would anyone recommend that she takes it to try and kick-start some sort of cycle, or would she have to wait until (if) she gets AF? Would it be safe to use if she hasn't been O-ing?
As far as I understand it, her healthcare people have been a bit shocking in giving her any usable advice...
    Any opinions welcomed! Thanks xx

Thanks code I have in & tested tonight at 10dpo, stupid but I'm impatient. Bfn. Like it was going to be anything else ;)
    Voice of reason!

Nic I really wouldn't take soy unless its a last resort. It seriously messed me up & it's only now that it seems to be working for me on cycle 2 of using it x

  • Wow, they are two definite big fat positives MV - well done!

Becca - Please can you remove me from the testing list. BFN and spotting today - expecting AF by the morning. I've eaten lots of Quavers and choc this evening, so that's perked me up a bit :)

Firefly - Good luck with the ov'ing. Fingers crossed you catch the egg
