Not sure what I missed last night?! :o
So annoyed this morning; was supposed to be having an internal examination this afternoon but the doctor is ill so I got rebooked to a single appointment with another doc. I had to explain 3 times that I needed a double slot so it's been rebooked... for the 2nd Jan! I got myself all worked up (and did some ladyscaping last night ;)) for nothing! :(

Urgh, just feel like I'm going around in circles ATM, all I want for Christmas is some answers! :(

On the plus side (ish) OH has been off work since last Wednesday as he's torn some muscles on his arm (has a manual job so can't work with an injury like that), as he's not working he's got loads of extra energy for BD, but it's too early for OV so it's just for fun. Which isn't bad, but feels like a wasted opportunity as I'm sure it'll be back to once a week by the time my eggs actually come out of hiding (if they actually do come out at all!) :o

*bangs head on desk* DH has left his wallet at home today, and he doesn't have a packed lunch. Guess that means I don't get to rest today. On the plus side, it means I can get taken out for lunch instead of needing to cook.

  • Morning gang.

TeamLowe I know completely what you mean, this last week is dragging so slowly. Work is really quiet too, so a lot of the day is spent clock-watching.

Got a lunch today with my dept which will break the day up a bit.

Birdie - how annoying that your appointment got bumped to January, but on the plus side you have a nicely trimmed lady garden for Christmas :D

code - your ostrich post made me laugh out loud!

Someone said don't test before dpo14. Well I shouldn't have as I now just got my hopes up. Tested last night just to POAS and to get a negative control for my new test sticks (cheapy from Amazon, but meant to be 10 ...what ever the unit is, so the sensitive ones) I think I am 10 dpo so quite early if I guestimated OV correct (didn't temp). This morning I thought oh whatever I got loads of tests to use up and got the faintest of faint lines when I compare to my negative control from last night. My brain tells me might be a fluke as it's too early, tummy tells me yay. So I calmed down now and try to be realistic. I am NOT going to test again till Sat!!!

I kind of missed the courgette post but judging by other post I guess congratulations are in order!? Sticky!!!!

    Fingers crossed Thriftylass! :)

I'm not feeling like it should be Christmas already, more like panicking because it's next week and I'm not sorted! Going to spend the afternoon doing some last ditch internet shopping methinks! :o

  • Morning all. Had a day off yesterday (using up my annual leave before the holiday year ends) and was meant to be wrapping presents. Instead I ended up snuggled up with my nephew (7yrs old) watching the Muppets. He has the beginning of a cold and was feeling very clingy and wanted to spend time with his auntie, and me being the broody mess that I am at the moment I just couldn't say no. Then my niece (18 months) decided she didn't like him getting all the attention so she climbed up to watch it too. Womb clanging and feeling very hollow now.

Definite congrats to MV - hope you get on ok at the GP on Friday.
