Trying for a Baby Part 8

Gosh RazWaz sorry to hear about that. Try not to worry about the xray and the morphine, you needed them.
Look after yourself ((hugs))0 -
Hi ladies,
tea lover I hope your last day at work tomorrow is brilliant and you feel on top of the world for doing the right thing for your sanity and your self and a baby in January. I'm so jealous!
Raz - Big big hugs, hope you're feeling better and they sort you out. Dont worry about the drugs, a baby would get all its nourishment from the yolk sac at the moment- you wont pass on anything, and like Pomme said - you needed it and at the moment you're most important.
MV, good luck for testing, keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you - keep your chin up, theres nothing wrong with you and it was terrible rude of that doctor to suggest otherwise. Solid medical proof and matter of opinion are really different, so don't get too upset unless there's something to be upset about.
Birdie - hugs for the ultrasound, it'll be better to know what you're dealing with though. Please don't go - I really miss the familiar faces round here. Everyone has gone to have a baby or the 12m thread and I just keep going round in circles. I wish people would stay even just for the chat.
I got lots of information from the molar pregnancy unit today and its all really confusing, badly written information that doesn't explain anything, is full of references to people who are apparently my doctors but that I've never even heard of and nobody seems to be able to answer my questions about it, my GP and the EPU don't have a clue and its really upset me. Ugh.
But its December and it again here today and I'm going to pretend I'm still in the wine zone (maybe you'll kindly make an exception) and I'll stand by the hope that it will somehow be ok in the end.I'm just not quite sure how yet.0 -
Hopelass, your hot chocolate with honey JD sounds yummy!
Twas lovely thank you - want another one tonight but OH is "rationing" it  for some reason?! Strange man!
Raz hope you are feeling better - sounds v frightening
Hope all the rest of you lovely ladies are well (QQ and T2D, thinking of you).
Have managed to crack forgetting to take my pregnacare conception pills by taking them to work disguised in an old multivitamin pot hehe! Now I can take them at lunchtime and won't forget because they are in my desk drawer:cool: OH has also taken his to work but not in disguise  to be fair they are in his 'man bag' so noone should be snooping in that.......
Nearly Friday ladies! Yayay!:j Have a good evening xxFirst baby due October 2013 :j0 -

Do you have to go back for a follow up?
I'm currently being investigated for Fibromyalgia (I have every symptom), I'm seeing a consultant next Wednesday about it. The doctor wanted me to see them and rule out it being a Fibro quirk before they did anymore investigations.
If people are wondering why I would bother TTC when I might be ill...well it's a lifelong condition, my desperate want for children will never go away, all I would do is end up delaying things even longer. There is no cure, just learning how to live with it, and having someone who needs me will help give me the motivation to fight every day.0 -
Last day tomorrow!! To say I'm looking forward to the break would be the understatement of the century. Had the last awful commute on Tuesday and haven't spoken to cowbag since I handed my notice in - so things are looking up already
Now I just need to sort Christmas out.... with no money.
Good luck for your last day tea! You'll feel so much better knowing you don't have to go back! It's a shame because we've spent a bit of time and money doing this place up, but there's the possibility that my little sis and her boyf and baby could move in... the area they live in is even worse atm and they don't have a car so they're quite happy with the prospect. As much as we'd like to buy, it's not really worth sacrificing our health and happiness for.
Amy do you live in Leeds? We live in a rented house in Leeds but are saving to buy in the New Year.
AFM, this is our first month of trying properly. I'm CD16, 1DPO i think. I've been trying to temp but finding it difficult to do it at the same time every day. I had a little temp dip yesterday and quite a big increase today so i'm hoping that was OV yesterday and we've managed to BD on CD 9, 12 and 14 which is quite a lot for us and there's another on the cards tonight when OH gets home! Trying not to get my hopes up too much
In other news one of my friends is currently having contractions about 15 minutes apart and hoping to meet her baby boy for the first time tomorrow! I'm really excited for her but very jealous at the same time0 -
I'm still here lemonmelon!
Peak on cbfm today (cd15) so I think I'll call tomorrow 0dpo... WE have a friend coming over tonight (I should be getting ready!) so I told DH vida text that I had hoped he would be home for some "action" before she got here... He replied saying I can't rush him, he needs romance! :rotfl: really made me laugh"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Oops nearly forgot to say congratulation to rumfeeble!! Very happy for you! :T0

I'm getting freaked out by a weird noise! I'm in someone else's office today and it sounds like there's something inside the wall
PommeVerte - no problem - I'll scan it in tomorrow and send it over, here's hoping it might do some good!
Mrs_T_M - The US bleaching eggs - that's shocking, I've not heard that before! And the idea of them sitting in a warehouse...yuck. I love the idea of keeping chickens, maybe one day (what on earth do you do if you go away though, that's what I always think - can imagine asking someone to feed my cats, but not sure how they'd respond to chickens)0 -

(((RazWaz))) I have to admit I had to google Fibromyalgia - I have heard of it but didn't know what it entails. Certainly no reason why you shouldn't TTC though and nobody should question your right to want to have a baby! Particularly if said baby would help you to cope with your symptoms. Best of luck for next Weds xxFirst baby due October 2013 :j0 -

I do indeed... and I *hope* I'm not giving away too much or offending anyone by saying I live in the Burmantofts area currently... DH is soooo middle class and it's a very rough area, so he's not enjoying it muchHe works in Harrogate so we're looking to move somewhere between our two workplaces (I'm at Jimmy's) so probably north Leeds. Where abouts are you planning to buy? Exciting times! Hope you soon have a new arrival for your new house
