Bit of a quiet afternoon ladies - not many posts tonight, maybe everyone is christmas shopping!!

Hugs to everyone who has/is dealing with norovirus and all the other horrid bugs out there. :grouphug:

My brother has picked something similar up, but he's a quadriplegic which just complicates things even more! I'm not even allowed to visit him properly (he lives in a care home) in case I infect him with something else, I miss him lots . But as he says 'I can't feel any pain so I'm not really a**ed!'...:o. Muppet.

DH is crashed out on the sofa with some kind of bug too... and this morning my car wouldn't start and it turns out it's probably going to be expensive . Proper gutting because I only got it because it's much much cheaper to run that my last one, but so far I've spent £200 a month on it in repairs! So upset! Literally I've been crying about it tonight!

Hmmmm, maybe crying over a car is some kind of symptom...:cool: (or maybe I'm just being mse!)

Hugs nic, car's can be such a drain on the finances.

Goodness me it's cold this evening. We never seem to be able to get our flat really warm, mind you I'm always cold!

Feeling crap this evening. Hacking cough and loads of snot (sorry), this cold seems to be non-shifting, so fed up of it now

Going to be totally un-MSE and order a curry in tonight. I'm shattered as is OH, and neither of us can be bothered to cook. I need something spicy for my cold I think

Yep...it's most definitely freezing! Been home from work for a couple of hours and only just feeling warm now, DH has kindly offered to walk the dogs so I can stay in the warm

Had my first reflexology session today (she has training in maternity reflexology). Was...interesting. Not the hour long blissful foot massage I imagined, but interesting, quite relaxing and a little painful in places. She's given me some homework - pressure points in the hands to stimulate your ovaries etc. if anyone wants a copy of the photocopy let me know

I agree - its freezing! I need to crack on with some work but cba. And OH gave DD my planned dinner for her tea and now I have nothing to eat and refuse to cook at this time of night! I think I might order a pizza in.
