doctor was an absolute twonk. told her we was just there for the results, she gave me two lectures about my weight, including the great line 'losing weight shows how much you want to get pregnant', we shouldnt put pressure on ourselves, we should feel fortunate to be so young and should realise we're already a family anyway
    ...
    !!!!!!

Urgh! What a horrid experience! I'm furious for you!!!! Some people should just stay in a lab and NEVER have contact with the public.

AFM - I could do with some advice/experience... I think I may have Ov'd on Sunday (CD15 for me) - I had faint lines on OPK all week, and on Sun it was the strongest, although I can't say for sure if it was positive. POAS was pointless for the rest of Sunday, as it was too diluted to bother with. :o As it had been not quite + earlier on, I figured if it was going to be +, I could catch it on Mon...

Since then, I've had no lines at all on the opks, and cm has virtually gone. I had some ewcm yesterday and Sunday. I don't think I realised how much cm I actually had until checking it today and realising that it had all gone awol. BD'd on Sat and Mon (been BD-ing every other day, just in case) so I think we're probably covered.

I'd appreciate anyone's advice on this - I'm trying to get a grip on my cycle, but going a bit crazy in the meantime, constantly POAS (apart from Sunday!) and checking cm!!
    Thanks, n x

Nic - If you're struggling with cheap tests I would suggest clearblue digi OPK's. They're stupidly expensive but they take the guess work out of it all.

Remember, OPK's detect an LH surge which can last hours for some people and days for others. Ovulation is usually 24-48 hours after the LH surge, so presuming you caught it on the way up on Sunday morning...you probably ov'ed Monday? Or today?

As I say, it's different for everyone and it just takes some time to work out your cycles. :)

Sorry, another post from me. I meant to ask this the other day, but couldn't get on.

On Sat/Sun, CD 11/12 i Had quite dark brown ewcm - almost like what you get at the end of AF, but I finished AF on CD 6 or so. I've never jhad this before, and then it cleared up by yesterday. Any thoughts or is it just something really random? x

Miffy - I can't tell you what the EWCM was all about, but I had some blood tinged EWCM too on around CD10. Totally random, and I only noticed it for one day a couple of times after I'd been for a wee.

I read up a load of stuff about ovulation bleeding, which apparently can be a good sign of being fertile, but I'm not convinced that's what mine was as it was too early (didn't ov until CD16).

Just another weird excretion our bodies chuck out to keep us completely confused! :p

Lilymay: Thanks. I think I just need to be patient in working out my cycles. I may splurge on a cbfm when af comes this month. Been thinking about charting temp too, but want to avoid that if poss.
Thanks for the reassurance - calmed me down!!
