Trying for a Baby Part 8

Morning All,
Code - Glad to hear your DH job thing worked out in a positive way. It sucks that you chances a low this month but maybe you can use the waiting time till your next fertile window to relax and pamper yourself without stressing about ss and poas?
Atton - hope you feel better soon
Lemonmelon - I'm not allowed to mention Christmas or play Christmas music till almost December either:(....OH can be so grinchy:rotfl:
Hugs for all the ladies being harrassed by pregnant women on facebook...
afm. Been on metformin a few days now. Thanks for the tip about taking it with an evening meal instead of breakfast it made a big difference to how severe the queasiness is. Have to say I am not looking forward to upping the dose later in the week. Not expecting to notice any significant change this cycle as not on the full dose yet. Just keep telling myself that it is practice for morning sickness.0 -
Oh Lemon, I'm happy to see you but so so sorry to see you back IYSWIM
I hope your referrals take less time than predicted and you're able to get some answers and support (and a lovely sticky bean of course) :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
Code - big hugs for you too, I'm sure you'll ace the interview (you're always so warm and articulate on here, so that's bound to come over well). Sorry that PMA is low for this month, but at least it gives you a window to excel at this interview, start your new job, reduce stress for you and OH and have a lovely Christmassy bean
Facebook really is the bane of so many of our TTC experiences, it's as though people don't think about what they're putting up (although I can guarantee half of us will be the same when we get our sticky beans
).
Firefly - Sorry you're feeling a bit rough from the metformin... men really have no idea do they?Hope it helps and you get a lovely Christmas surprise.
Atton - Hope you feel better soon, make OH look after you and bring you sugar-free treats.
Bigzippy - I understand why you're lurking rather than posting, but just in case, :grouphug: we miss you and hope things are looking more positive.
Mrshappy - :grouphug: Sending all my best wishes and positive vibes your way.
apple*pie - good luck with the work situation :grouphug:
Vesper - When can I start putting my ice cream orders in? :rotfl: Sound gorgeous, I'm very jealous! CBT is hard work, but sooo beneficial, I had a course earlier this year and found it really helped; hope you have an equally positive experience with it. Just be sure to let your partner know how fragile you're likely to be afterwards, and that you'll need lots of support and hugs
Tink - I can't imagine how hard it was to hold your friend's LO after all you've been through recently. I hope you're getting all the support you need, do your friends in the 'real world' know what's happened so they can be a little more sensitive? :grouphug:
Becca - Sorry for the evap, false hope and disappearing lines are horribleI think most of us have been there :grouphug:
Birdie - Have a good time!
TeamLowe - Just had to say that your post about Atton's friend was really well considered and insightful, if only everyone was so considerate about these big events!
COMP - Hope FF has got it right and it's easier to predict where you are in your cycleI have my fingers crossed for a lovely little Christmas sticky :grouphug: I've noticed the thread seems to have some days when everyone's chatting, but some times of the month when it's slower... I think it's connected to when we have a flurry of BFPs (why do they always come together) or when we're all a bit more subdued
Tooth - Sorry for BFNSending lots of positive vibes for next month.
QQ - Thanks for birthday wishes, hope you're not working too hard
Pomme - Glad you had a good time while you were away, snuggling with a kitty and watching Downton sounds like heaven :A
Trina - OH has been advised that for every day my presents are late he owes me 1 more gift... given that we're not going to have the chance to go shopping before next Sunday, I think I've done quite well out of it :rotfl:Maybe you should institute a similar policyAlso sending best wishes for a holiday baby
MV - I'm so sorry, I don't really know what to say, except :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
Wow, I seem to have really exceeded myself with the smilies and dodgy hugs today! I'll be having my little nephew this afternoon and evening, as his mum and dad are getting engaged (not that she knows! :rotfl:) so we're going to see the fireworks. He's not experienced them before so it could go either way; I wouldn't normally take such a young child but given that he loves loud noises and bright lights I thought it was worth a go....We may end up coming straight back if he doesn't like them, but that suits me just as well really as I'm very selfish and just like to keep his cuddles to myself

Hello girls:wave:
PommeVerte, DH and I had a quarrel, so no BDing near ov this time:(
Firefly, good luck with metformin. Hope your body gets used to it soon:o
lilymay, could you have ov'd yesterday? With your temp rise today and all?
lemonmelon, massive (((((hugs))))):(
vesper, I've tried Preseed, and I'd recommend it. But you need to put that inside you whereas with Conceive Plus, you can do either (put it on your OH).
Toothfairy, how are you? Have you tested again?
codemonkey, (((hugs))).
amyloofoo, have a great time with your little nephew tonight:j
MV, Good idea re testing late. Next one will be a sticky (((hugs))).0 -
Hello all - I hope you don't mind me joining you.
I've recently posted on the miscarriages thread and am planning on getting straight back on the TTC wagon as time is not on my side :-)
Just a quick, and probably stupid, question. I'm on CD13 (I think, I'm working from the beginning of my m/c) and usually ovulate early (CD10-11) judging by previous pregnancy and the latest m/c. So there's a possibility that I could be in the (very) early stages of pregnancy. Today I've been feeling completely drained, seem to have constant indigestion, very sensitive to smells, nauseous, can't bear the thought of food and I was actually quite sick this lunchtime (I'm never sick). I'm not sure whether to put this down to a bug or very early pregnancy signs - but surely it's too early for pregnancy symptoms?
During the few weeks of my last pregnancy I had nausea and fatigued very early on, but I don't remember it being this early.
Unfortunately I'm betting that it's probably a bug, but I'd be interested to hear if any of you have come across symptoms this early before.
TIA0 -

Hello!
Sorry to hear of your mc. Hope you get pg again soon and it is a sticky one!
I am a lurker here since getting my bfp a couple of weeks ago. I've only just started getting a few symptoms in the last week or so. So from about 16/17 dpo. Although I did get mild implantation cramps at 6dpo.
I think it may be too early for symptoms for you as I think they are usually as a result of hormones levels which don't kick in until after implantation - or about 4-6 weeks into the pregnancy but you never know! Think positive! There may be others on here who have had symptoms early..
Hope it all works out for you!0 -

Hi Betty, hope your stay in short and sweet and that you soon get a sticky bean for your forever baby  So sorry for the reason you're here, but very pleased to 'meet' you, IYSWIM.
With regards to your symptoms... normally we try to avoid symptom spotting on here (both because it leads to disappointment and because QQ scolds us!) but I think things may be a little different as it's so soon after your m/c. I think it's probably best to do all the normal things you'd do whilst TTCing in the 2ww anyway (i.e. folic acid, avoiding alcohol, etc) and keep an eye on your symptoms. If you can bear to then I'd wait a couple of weeks before testing to avoid being disappointed (or getting a false positive), but that's really your call. Maybe one of the ladies with more recent experience of this could advise?0 -
unfortunately sweaty you can't have symptoms before the fertilised egg implants and that won't be til around 8/9DPO, so about CD20 if you have ovulated (first cycle post mc is usually counted from the day the bleeding ends as you have to get all the HcG out your system before you'll ovulate).
It's likely to be a bug (your body will be worn out atm, your immune system included) or crazy crazy hormones. i had the same level of nausea during my pregnancy for the first few cycles after in the 2ww, it wasn't fun as every time i convinced myself i was definitely pregnant but i never was
Hope you're not with us long x x
can't remember who asked but conceiveplus is great, feels really naturalx x
