It's hard leaving a job when everything and everyone are familiar, Squirrel. But you'll soon settle in, and it sounds like you're ready for a change.

Anyone know if clearblue digis more or less sensitive than the standard blue dye ones? I have 1 digi in the cupboard. Do I do it now? I don't really have much spare cash to be buying more tests this month, but dammit I want to know if I'm pregnant *pouts* *stamps feet*

Aha, just seen your post MV. Well, I might just have kept a pot of fmu just in case I needed to demand a second opinion... Not that I'm obsessed or anything!

Digi's with conception indicator are fairly sensitive. If you are Pg, they should show it at 13dpo :)

Edit: i just saw your test pick and I can see a cross albeit very faint. If I had got that, I would be doing a digi :)

    Goodluck!

Hmmm it's really hard to see, and i put my face right up against the screen...... but maybe a hint of a cross..... do the digi tomorrow morning !!
  • Congrats BB - that looks like a + to me! :)

Just a little note to say I wont be on here anymore. TTC is taking over my life and I'm being a POAS addict even though I know I'm not pg. It's making me unhappy looking at a - on a stick each month and now I'm almost 41, it's probably time to stop dreaming as time is not on my side. I can't talk to my OH about it so it's better to just stop and do something else to take my mind off it.

Thank you all for making me feel welcome.

I really hope you all get your BFPs really soon. I'm just not in the right frame of mind to stay.

I wish you all well, here's to many fruitful BDs (that sounded really pervy) ha ha.

    best wishes
    Scoobs.
  • Sorry to see you go scoobs. Good luck with whatever you decide to do x

BB - I have to say I would do the digi. It'll tell you one way or another.

The digi is thinking about it...

Sorry to see you go Scoobs. If you're finding it too stressful then you need to do what's best for you.

@bigbird I am on my phone but can see a cross if I look at it from far away- no experience though so not sure if that is helpful!

@squirrell congrats on the job offer, change is always hard but I would go your instincts if it is something you always wanted I would go for it.

Quick q for you ladies- what's the story with drinking in the 2ww recommended or not?
  • Drinking during the 2ww is a toughie.

I don't think that having the odd drink is going to do any harm, but I wouldn't advise getting plastered if you can help it.

I had a glass of red wine last night, and will probably have another one this evening as OH is out, but that's about it.

BB - COME ON!!! PUT US OUT OF OUR MISERY!!!!!!!
