Congratulations mogwai! What lovely news and with that in mind can I predict we get 8 bfp in October.

Well I managed to seduce oh in the end so hopefully I'm in with a small chance this month, we bd about 24 hours after my positive opk so I hope that's not too late? Also what do ovulation pains feel like as I had some strange new pains in my lower back and tummy on my right side only today felt crampy/achy/squeezy if that makes sense?

All this new stuff is most peculiar almost like I don't know my own body at all. I suppose I'll get used to it though and you lovely ladies have been such a great help so huge thanks to you all!

Lily legend - imo your doc is talking tosh. Yes, there is some new thing about gp's becoming more responsible for the costs of referrals they make, however - I was sent to my gynae for fertilty issues after just less than a yr (at age 29) even though my bmi was WELL over 30! The FS mentioned it, but only in a "you need to be under xBMI before getting clomid/ivf" kind of way. They still ran all the tests.

    See another doctor. For sure.

Oh, and I'm ok, got my pre-op tomorrow. Not bricking it. At all. Honest.

    :o

Good luck for the pre-op BigZ.
Having a mild lie in as I have to wait or the gas safety man to come at eight before I go to work (my core hours only start at ten) plus I've got a meeting tonight and its the first one so who knows how long it'll taking. Hoping to be home for nine though. I feel like utter tosh so shouldn't be going anyway but gosh I'm dedicated lol

Not spotting so far and pretty sure I was this time last cycles, shoppes are high, they'll come crashing down soon though I'm sure x x

TeamLowe - fingers crossed that AF stays away

can I just ask a BD'ing question, can anyone share which CD's they BD'd on this month around ov?

We put in a pretty poor performance this month (only BD'd twice), on CD 10 and then on CD 13. I ov'd yesterday according to my smiley ov stick (CD 14) so crossing my fingers that this was enough.

I just keep reading various forums with women saying how they BD'd every 2 to 3 days throughout their cycle, and then loads around ov. There is NO WAY myself and OH would ever manage that. 2-3 times in a week is rampant for us! :rotfl:

I don't think I am going to get anymore BDing in this week now, as the last few days have been a bit trying, even though ideally I'd like to try and squeeze another one in tonight. OH is working in Birmingham today so had a really early start and will be back late tonight, so I'm not going to to push it.

Have had 3 positive OPK's in a row - this is weird for me so I dont really know if they are real positives. When I was doing OPK's last year I would have a positive one one day then it would go really pale again.

I am taking this as a good sign! :D

We have also managed to BD 3 days in a row which is a blummin miracle for us - if we can also manage tonight and tomorrow, as well I'm going to give the Guiness Book of World Records a call at the weekend!!!
