Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,

Lily - thats so strange... I went to see the doc after less than 12 months of trying and was referred almost straight away but then again I was having really irregular periods so they knew there was an issue. I can't recall if you've ever said anything about a similar problem but I think thats the only reason we were referred so quickly. We are exactly the same age too, I'm 32 and DH is 35.

I think if I was having regular periods they would have made us wait.
They have never questioned my BMI though - I am over 30 too but this wasnt an issue with having all the various tests etc. The FS did say they wouldnt be able to provide any further help such as clomid or IVF unless my BMI was under 30 but they have prescribed Metformin for my PCOS which I am hoping (along with the diet) will bring my BMI down in case I do need any assistance further along the line!

Lets hope you get a BFP in the next 6 months so you can stick two fingers up to your doc!! :)

Congrats Mogwai!! So happy for you, hope you have a very happy and healthy pregnancy....... Xx

Hoping I ov a bit later this month than last month as I've got to go away for work for a few days next week. Should be back Thurs nite and I'm guessing I will ov over the weekend, so I'll have to pounce on OH as soon as I get back.

Can't remember who said about the OH's having their own forum complaining about us s@x crazed women, but it really made me laugh!

Huge hugs to all of you having a rubbish time of things at the moment xx

    Congratulations mogwai x

Glad your scan went well tink x

Hugs for those in need-seems to a few of you just now

Tealover-sounds as if you are in a pretty similar place to where we were earlier this year with the genetic tests going on. Our FS did a physical examination on mrh at out first appointment and that is when he mentioned CF, which was confirmed by bloods. Needless to say we have done lots of googling and I have had an appointment with a genetic counseller (oops, can't spell!) If I can be of any help please feel free to ask anything-not that I can give medical advice-only our experiences ;)

AFM-I have no idea what it going on-CD 33, FF had put ov crosshairs in at around CD14 as normal so I stopped temping, was expecting AF on Fri/Sat and started temping again, crosshairs have disappeared and no sign of AF, only, TMI alert, a smear of blood when I wiped on Mon and Tue morning and nothing else at all. I have never had a long (for me) cycle like this in my life, and even with the knowledge that mrh has no swimmers I still tested yesterday-surprisingly enough it was a BFN. so I have no idea what has happened to AF, but I know she will get me sometime!
I properly stopped smoking in August and have put on a couple of pounds, so don't know if that is something to do with it, but my Aug/Sept cycle was normal. I'm very confused!

    Hope everyone is good :)
