Good to hear your new Tinks. I am sure the next stage has all it's own stresses too.

MV and Squirrel - I know it's hard, but give yourselves a little bit of a break. Such pressure you are putting on yourselves! Remember that you will tend to be moody around ov due to hormones (oh mother nature - why do you make this so hard!) so naturally you are going to be hyper stressed, and sensitive, and grumpy and emotional.

I know I can't really talk, but try to take a deep breath, be aware of what is real and what is hormonal and chillax... just think - you can drink now too!

It may be too late this month, and if so can I suggest you think about taking EPO next month. I find it has really helped me with hormone related stress and moodyness. Just an idea. :)

AFM, got all these forms today from the FS - which I wasn't expecting. Must be 30 pages to complete, and it's worrying me. Has anyone gone to a FS? Are they just going to go on and on about my weight - I know it's a big issue, but I do want to know if something else may be a problem too. I am working on in (another 10k today) but I'm running out of time to lose weight. It's not like I haven't been trying my entire adult life!

Arrrgh. DH is such a poopoohead. I'm very happy to be post ovulation because at the moment I'd quite happily return him to his mum's house. He was off on a boys weekend and he's been a total pita since he got back.

Tinks, is the 5 day thing cause implantation can take place between 6dpo and 12dpo? glad everything is ok.

Still no OV and it's CD15 :( So I either missed it on Saturday or it's not happening

Tealover - big ((hugs)). That stupid book.... I should never have recommended it.... I really really hope you get some positive options at the appointment in November. How did the meeting with your boss go today??

Abis - big ((hugs)) to you too. I think I could be writing almost the exact same post in about a week. I want this so much and I have this stupid idea in my head that if I get pregnant on this cycle then I won't be so upset about the miscarriage, but if I don't get pregnant on this cycle then I'll be even more devastated about it :(

WHEN ARE WE ALL GOING TO GET PREGNANT??? AARGH!!!

I'm starting to think about a big career change at the moment, but I just can't bring myself to do it because it will involve lots of training and being pregnant at the same time would never work. And if I start it and then get pregnant, we'll have no money... etc... AAARGH again!

Anything exciting? I thought about becoming a teacher about a year ago. And then I decided I couldnt be bothered with all the training and no money situation. Hopefully I dont regret it one day. I tend to go through phases of new job ideas! The job I have now is kinda boring a lot of the time but pays well so Im staying there - for now lol.

MV - will getting drunk help? I'm beginning to think it's our best option around OV time.... surely the benefits of actually having sex will outweigh the negative impact of alcohol on fertility..?!?

(Sorry, am begin flippant now, just feeling really annoyed for all of us ladies about how difficult ttc is...)

My friend who is 8 months pregnant started drinking again and then got pg about 2 months later. She got fed up not having a glass of wine when she really wanted one after a stressful day at work (and shes a teacher actually :rotfl:).

Abis - if youre ill I dont see why you cant take tablets or deny yourself from stuff. I think unless you know youre pregnant and only in the 2ww then nothing is 'connected' anyway.

I remember before reading ibuprofen isnt supposed to be good to take in the 2ww. And I didnt take it once and suffered with a headache instead. Well Im not doing that anymore, if I get a headache Im popping some pills and I dont think it will really affect me getting pg when people seem to get pg doing all types of awful things let alone taking a ibuprofen tablet! :)

I will guess 11 bfps!! We need some more!

Is anyone else hearing 'RELEASE THE EGG' in Dale Winton's voice? A la 'hole in the wall'?

*runs off in shame having admitted to watching Hole in the Wall*

Oh good lord. I could kill you! :p

Now that is totally in my head and will be when I'm trying to go to sleep, and I will probably snigger about it all day at work tomorrow and make everyone think I've lost the plot.

    BRING ON THE EGG! :D

I needed a bit of cheering up tonight, been in bed with the lurgy since Sunday, and off work yesterday and today. I actually like my job and love all my workmates so I don't like being off sick. And now just as I'm starting to feel better, DH is coming down with it too and I need him to be in full working order this weekend, think I will be BRINGING ON THE EGG! (sorry) on Monday or Tuesday and want to be ready for it! We have a friend staying this weekend and think I'll have to send him off to the shops for a pint of milk or some other feeble excuse...

Anyway I want to say a big good luck to Lilymay and another big good luck to Tinks, for different reasons.

And hugs to Metranil, Abis and Tea Lover, and anyone else who needs one.

Tinks - Been waiting for your news! Yay! 5 days out at that stage is nothing. Remember, the size of baby is so tiny at this point that even a 1/4 of a millimeter can make like a weeks difference in gestational age. I had a couple of early scans with DS and my first one put me nearly 3 weeks behind my actual due date!!

In a side note, I have just been for a wee and guess what....+ OPK!!!! I'm on bl00dy CD12!! YIPEE!!! Soy is magic!! Just tried to wake DH up for a BD but it's not happening - lazy git :P

    Nighty night all :)

    Debt-free and Proud!
So happy Tinks :j :j :j I agree not to worry about the 5 days thing, it's so fluid when they're that tiny and is likely to change again by your next scan (I work on a maternity / delivery ward and see this A LOT if that helps you to relax :D)

MV, Gemmzie, Time2Deal, Abis and Tea Lover (and anyone else I've forgotten) :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Time2Deal, congratulations on your 10k :j I'm sure the FS will be pleased to hear you're working on the weight thing and will not focus just on that - afterall if you're doing 10ks then you're probably healthier than a lot of *thinner* women who are in their office (sorry, it's early and my brain isn't working well enough to phrase it better).

Code, hope your OH stops being a pain soon... if not then tell him you're trading him in for Dale Winton; at least it would spark a conversation :rotfl:

I'm up ridiculously early again so I might wake hubby up with breakfast half an hour early ;)

QQ - I can feel that this month is going to be great, so I'm predicting 9 BFPs for October! But I'll be very happy to be proven to be too conservative in my estimate ;)

    Morning! :hello:

Well me and DH BDed again before bed last night (twice in one day doesn't happen very often so DH was in his element lol).

This morning I had a smiley face on my ovulation test! :j I was very excited about that!! :o:) So we BDed again. :D

DH said so when I get home from work tonight will you be in bed ready for me? :rotfl: Hmm, don't push your luck! :p:rotfl:

Glad to hear it went well tinks! :)

MV, hope you're ok and that you're back on here soon. x

(((Hugs))) squirrel, hope your DH is more up for it today!

time2deal, I'm seeing my doctor today, and I'm worried he'll just go on about my weight. Like you, I know it's an issue but I want to know if there any other problems too.

Hope you all have a good day. :)
