Afternoon all

firstly sending out huge hugs to those who need them and I would certainly endorse any of the wonderful inventions mentioned earlier on in this thread.

I'm having a bit of a good news/bad news moment but I am choosing to see it as a huge positive as I have been really worried that I am somehow "broken" from so may years on the pill. Stupid I know especially as I've only been off it for a month.

Good News - I got a positive OPK for the first time hooray! Ovulation ahoy! (hopefully).

Bad News - Hubby is working late this week so no chance to BD

I'm so happy about that OPK though I almost don't mind if it's "wasted" this month, as it is only our first month of trying and I don't want to put too much pressure on OH.

Also when should I be considered past ov? Still getting used to all this stuff!

I'm on CD15, and I have a 27-day cycle so just thought it would be here by now.

Guess that sounded like a silly thing to say, but basically it always seems to stay on the outside of me if you see what I mean, not sure if DH takes it back out with him almost.

On a different subject entirely, I love the sound of your prawn toasts! Will have to give them a go!

I always think that too - I am hoping some go inside - the important ones at least!!!!! :rotfl:

Just home from my scan it has been a very LONG day.
I Saw the heartbeat:j The measurments were 5 days out which can be normal i was told???????????????????:o
She has asked us back in 2 weeks for a follow up scan for free:D

Back to work now, sorry nt been on much. Had a lovely time with OH.
Went to GP yesterday about ttc, she was lovely and understanding.
Going to have blood works done next cycle to check. She was happy with my reg cycle lengths.
OH has his pot for SA, which he is sooo understanding and fine about it.

Mission aborted for us It aint happening so I am probably out for this month. So gutted.

Think I'm going to have to take a step back from here for my own sanity.

Why is it when you're scheduled in for a well timed BD, your DH does something to make you really narky so you then get in a mood with him, which then sends him in a mood with you and even though you try to make up there's no way that he will want to DTD because he's still sulking!!!! :eek:
