claire, you are right in that it's better to use OPKs in the late afternoon, but morning opks can pick up previous day's LH surge though:)

Tested and bfn, shock horror. Glad I didn't waste a digi like my silly brain was telling me.

Going to spend all weekend worrying about getting chewed out on Monday as I made a mistake at work and boss has gone mental via email and finished it with 'we need to discuss this on Monday'. Belting.

In other news just had my baby niece for an hour and we survived. She's grumpy cos she's teething a little but I managed to settle her before her mum got back so I didn't look completely incompetent lol x x

Not sure if you know but youre not supposed to pee on the ov sticks til after about 11am to allow the hormone to builld up throughout the morning! So maybe your dream about wasting sticks was a premonition!? So anyway if you really think you are about to ov soon, you could do another one this evening! I had read that on here and a few other forums claire, and was wondering if early morning testing was the wrong thing to do.

Trouble is, I don't particularly want to have to take the sticks to work with me and test in the office, and I'm up by 6 each morning and off to work by 6.30am.

It says on the instructions you can test any time of day as long as you test at roughly the same time each day. I may email the CB folks and see what they say.

Sorry, just a quickie.

So I tested with the digi ov stick this morning and got the blank circle, as predicted as I imagine I'll ov around CD 12,13 or 14 (today is CD10).

However just now (tmi alert) I felt a big blob of something, investigated and it is what appears to be tons of EWCM...!!!!!!??? Really stretchy stuff too. So..does that mean I may ov sooner rather than later? I suppose I could try and tempt OH for a quickie (although we are both a bit knackered today)...any thoughts?

Which is more accurate do you think? The sticks or the EWCM?

Not particularly unexpected, didn't think I'd ov'd, but going on prev cycles, I think it was about cd14 as this was 28day cycle, but last 3 have been 31/32 days. Will start ov testing about cd12 this time and hopefully not miss it again!!
