Thanks mrsj28.. I just completed my 1st month temping/charting and spent hours researching cycles and fertility signals on the internet, so I wasn't sure if there would be anything new in the book. It's not that cheap to buy, so I might try the library :)

Still no sign of AF, so if nothing happens I'll test again in a couple of days I guess.

Am using poundland test strips - does anyone know how sensitive they are, as can't see it written on the box but I have a feeling they detect pregnancy hormone at quite a low level, meaning I'm more likely to not get ny BFP this month.

Was surprisingly happy today as looking forward to spoiling hubby this weekend, and got whole weekend off work, but just come home to a very unexpected £900 bill, and have no idea how we'll pay it before end of the month - so that's put a major dampner on our weekend :-(

Good plan - I love using the library, very :money:[STRIKE]if you ignore the fines I rack up for returning books late[/STRIKE]

Sometimes it's nice having all the information in one place rather than just on a screen, and googling can give you all sorts of unreliable information too! Hope you find a library copy and it's helpful :)

The women who live either side of me are both pregnant, if I hadnt of lost mine that would have made three of us in a row!

People announcing pg on Facebook always seems to happen at the worst time, the day I m/c 3 fb friends announced their pregnancies! Sods law!

Still keeping my fingers crossed for everyone waiting to test! Hopefully will see some more BFP piccies for the end of the month!!!

You wont be seeing mine this month. Looks like DH (and I use the darling there in a sarcastic manner as he's really annoying me) will be away during ov.

I feel bad. Someone posted a pregnancy announcement complete with scan photo on Facebook and I instantly thought "Not fair. She's already got 2. Why does she get another?" Then I read the comment about how it took years to conceive her second and now I feel like a horrible person.

Also I was having my nails done and the woman doing them was asking if we have any plans to start a family and I sort of made a non committal noise ( well, I wasnt going to say "we're trying but its not working") and then she started telling me about how great it is to be a mum and her house is a home because of her daughter and I was just sitting there trying not to sob.

  • Hugs code. You're not a horrible person at all, it's so so natural to feel that way when it's something you want so badly and it seems other people are getting there before you.

I often feel guilty moaning when I already have a DS, like I should be grateful for what I have, and I am..really I am, but it doesn't stop me longing for another one and feeling the need to hide people on FB who are merrily announcing their pregnancies.

You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

QQ, pretty sure it wasn't MC as I've had negative tests this month (yes I cheated and tested early :P). Btw, can you take me off the testing list since AF came a few days ago.

I know what people mean about facebook. Everyone I went to school with seems to have at least 2 kids now, and we're only 22/23

I feel like I'm being punished for actually waiting until I was in a stable relationship instead of joining the mass of single parents running around my hometown. At least I moved away from there, was a very soul destroying place to live.
