Trying for a Baby Part 8

Morning all

Well AF is due today, but hasn't arrived so I just poas and got a BFN so am guessing I'm out again this month.

Only weird thing is my b o o b s are still really tender, which usually eases off before AF.

Am I clutching at straws or is there still a teeny chance I'm pregnant and tests just not picking up yet?

Morning all.

Thanks for asking Q, bleeding is pretty ferocious. Have almost gone through a whole pack of Always nighttime in less than 12 hours. It's like a very heavy period, and there have been a few smallish clotty bits (sorry for tmi).

I'm feeling really sad. I know we were jammy to catch first month of trying, and a lot of folk have been trying for so much longer, but it's just so disappointing. We almost got through the 1st stage, but not quite.

OH bought home 2 packs of clearblue digi's and a pack of the clearblue digi ov sticks last night (3 for 2 on at Boots at the moment), so I'm ready to rock again.

Does anyone here use the CB digi ov sticks btw?

Sorry for the BFN lou, but I'd keep hopeful until AF shows. One thing I've learnt in this game is that nothing is set in stone. Keeping everything crossed for you x

It's all about waiting isn't it!

We wait for AF
Then we wait for ov
Then we 2ww
Then we test
Then if BFN we wait some more for AF to show up
If BFP we wait to get those first few weeks out of the way

etc...

Sigh..so much blooming waiting!

it's a killer for impatient people like me!

Hi, I use them - although not this month as I do seem to ovulate regular as clockwork on CD13/14. When I first used them I quite liked the clear answer it gave me, although it does take it's time.

I tend to get a +ve on CD11-13.

I'm spotting and cramping today so I'm almost certainly out. DH has bene saying all week that he's hopeful that this will be our month after last month's chemical so now I feel bad for letting him down. I know that this is stupid, but I just can't help it...

Awww don't be silly COMP, you're not letting anyone down! I'm sure your OH doesn't see it like that so don't beat yourself up. Try to change that feeling from disappointment for 'letting your OH down' to disappointment that it didn't work for you both this month, but you can always try again in a couple of weeks!

I was moaning the other day to OH about all this and he said 'We want to make a perfect baby; we have to wait for a brilliant egg and my absolute best sperm. We don't want to rush perfection do we?!' Silly, but it made me feel better about having to wait longer.

QQ, can you change me to CD3 please. Trip to the out of hours dr last night confirmed it's AF, definitely not PG and it's early due to a really bad water infection. Which explains why I've been so tired and scatty. Antibiotics and cleared to BD again from next week
