    Morning all.

Thanks for asking Q, bleeding is pretty ferocious. Have almost gone through a whole pack of Always nighttime in less than 12 hours. It's like a very heavy period, and there have been a few smallish clotty bits (sorry for tmi).

I'm feeling really sad. I know we were jammy to catch first month of trying, and a lot of folk have been trying for so much longer, but it's just so disappointing. We almost got through the 1st stage, but not quite.

OH bought home 2 packs of clearblue digi's and a pack of the clearblue digi ov sticks last night (3 for 2 on at Boots at the moment), so I'm ready to rock again.

Does anyone here use the CB digi ov sticks btw?

Sorry for the BFN lou, but I'd keep hopeful until AF shows. One thing I've learnt in this game is that nothing is set in stone. Keeping everything crossed for you x

    Hugs

I used CB didgi ov sticks :D
If you can think it........it will happen
  • hi everyone,

COMP dont be sad, it'll happen again and next time it'll be a proper sticky bean, dont be downhearted, just enjoy the fun of TTC again next month :)

Gemmzie sorry to hear about the infection, but at least you know what it is and have a solution :)

AFM still SSing away, but im still too early, did a sneaky test this morning and a BFN. My list so far is up to unexplained headaches, sore hips, very light AF pains (but no AF, not even due yet), extremely tired (despite sleeping reasonably well), random dizzy spells.
aw well, ill keep soldiering on and test again next week.

on the plus side, i went to B&M and bought their pack of test sticks 3 pack for 99p, and got 4 in the pack....not that im using that as an excuse to test again u understand :)

    Happy Friday ladies!

  • So sorry to hear about MV and BB's losses huge hugs to you both. There's nothing anyone can say to make it better but you will know when you're ready to try again.

Congrats to Niknok too - well done! Hope it's a very sticky bean!

amus, fingers crossed for your interview hope you get it.

angeltreats amd loulou - hugs for BFN there's time yet though!

I'm still waiting patiently to test. I'm attending a black tie event tonight and can't wait to get dressed up. Am going to have a little drink tonight too because it's too soon to test and hopefully it may be my last for a while if the witch stays away next week :)

Welcome to the newbies - hope your stay is short :)

Sorry I havent been on for a while, getting used to my new phone, touch screens play havoc with my nails haha

I use CB digi opks and CBFM just to double check things are working as they should :rotfl: costs a fortune but worth every penny if it produces a BFP!

Hope everyone else is well, if I've missed any news can someone please let me know? I don't want to leave anyone out.

    Scoobs
  • Hi everyone.

Feel rubbish today. Im tired, grumpy and can feel a sore throat and headache coming on. :o

I have had such a manic week just to have a rest but that is not going to happen this weekend.

I never EVER do poorly so am a grumpy patient.

Going back to dwell at my desk on my own now.

have a good weekend everyone x

COMP, don't feel like you've let down your DH, it's 50% your DH's fault too you know, we just have the disadvantage of knowing before them:o

  • Afternoon all. Hope your Friday's are moving along nicely towards the weekend.

I went out earlier and I swear a shedload of pregnant women had all decided to go out at exactly the same time, they were everywhere!

One of my friends posted up her 12 week scan pic last night on FB too..talk about timing. I am happy for her, and I have said congrats several times but had to hide her from my wall as it was all a bit too raw yesterday :(

I'm trying to focus on being positive about our next try. I have been reading up about CB digi ov tests and it all seems quite positive, so looking forward to giving those a go.

Failing that I shall have to dig out my CBFM and buy some new sticks for it. The one's I had left expired so I chucked them out the other day.

For some reason, none of my friends are pregnant, and I've never seen a scan pic on my Facebook:huh:
I do have friends in their 20s and 30s too:o
  • Most of my old friends, in terms of how long I've known them, aren't married or have anykids! I'm the first one believe it or not!
They're either just not into kids or in the case of one of my friends, have had rotten luck with men.
Whereas my sister who is 3 years younger has 2 kids and most of her friends have children, one of her best friends has 3!

Afternoon all. I have a quick question.... has anyone read 'Taking Charge of your Fertility' by Toni Weschler? Is it a worthwhile purchase?

Hi ktb - if you are not familiar with charting your cycle then I would say it's worth a read, explains the basics of your cycle and how to identify when you are fertile.

I borrowed a copy from my local library recently, it's good but for me there wasn't really any new information in there as we've been ttc for a while and I'd done a lot of online research etc.

Lots of people very highly recommend it though and if you are new to charting or just starting out then I would recommend too!
