  • I am fully prepared for a bfn tomorrow as I'm sure testing at 11dpo is too early, but once I've set my mind on doing something, that's it! :D

    Afternoon/evening everyone...

I swear to god my 2ww is going on and on and I'm only at 7dpo. Have had a lot of CM today, but know I ov 7days ago from the surge on ic stick (did another ov test just now to make sure too!) So not to sure what that's all about. Mind you I've also got a swollen eye and I'm pretty sure that's got no relation to anything ttc!

My colleague at work (the 19 year old, some of you might remember me telling you about?) Went for her 12 week scan yesterday and is really in "baby mode" now she knows everything looks good - she spent her lunch hour looking at baby clothes/prams in catalogues and showing me what she was going to buy - I found this pretty hard, but am excited and happy for her at same time.

Only just realised that AF is due on hubbys birthday - so a BFP would be the BEST birthday present - fingers firmly crossed!

Hope everyone is ok today, off to read back through todays posts now...
  • So what fun-Friday stuff are peeps up to this evening?

OH is cooking a chilli (yum) and I daresay we'll have a couple of glasses of vin rouge..maybe a bit naughty, but as far as I am aware right now I am not preg!

And that's it..nice quiet night in front of the tv..bliss :)

Are you temping? Maybe BD again just incase. Your body can sometimes surge....but then not ovulate for what ever reason :)

Also, I agree about BFP's being the best birthday presents. I found out I was PG with DS on my birthday last year. After loosing DD, another BFP was the only thing I wanted and when I got it on my birthday I just cried and cried and cried. I feel emotional just thinking about it....I am really looking forward to telling DS about his sister...and how special he is to us because of how much we wanted him.

Makes me happy. Oh, and just incase any of you remember my scrubber 'friend' who's child is called Jaxxi? Well, she is currently in labour in hospital. She's being induced at 40+4. Thank the Lord. All her status' these last few weeks have been a constant whinge about how !!!! the NHS is...how she can't have a bed because the hospital is full off immigrants...how the GP is better than the consultants and midwives because he said she should have been induced.....

I am literally shaking with anger thinking about that pathetic excuse for a woman. She really is scum. Erugh. Sorry, rant over.

  • Yep cd 105 QQ. No spotting, no nothing. Keep getting cramps & thinking af is on the way - but thats been a couple of months now :(.
Thanks for the welcome back Birdie :)

Not been to a doctor as I don't want anything to bring AF on as i've no idea where in a cycle I might be & been bd'ing regularly just in case. If there's still nothing this weekend after I test again on sunday I'll book an appointment. Its been a year and a half now anyway so I suppose I ought to. I just have a phobia of doctors :(

Lilymay - no I'm not temping, always mean to but never get around to it as I work shifts. But I guess I'll "have" to BD again just to make sure lol. Did do another ov test earlier and that was definately negative tho.

Secret debts - in the past I've had long spells of no periods - when I 1st came off the pill, I didn't see AF for 10 months, and then a couple of years ago I went nearly 3 months without. Mine was put down to psos the 2nd time, but recently I've been very regular. Hope you can get it sorted out.
  • :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: at tactless hubbys! I also have a tactless mother who is driving me crazy just now making comments even though she is entirely aware that it won't happen naturally :o

Hope everyone is well, I have been lurking, but not had anything to say, so just sitting quietly in the corner :p

Congrats to recent bfp's-keep them coming!
  • After all the talk about finding out if you are pregnant on a birthday I have decided not to test tomorrow. It is our wedding anniversary on Monday and I think it would be a really cool present to find out on a special day. So I am not testing till Monday and unless AF shows then I would expect a + because I usually have a 27 day cycle and would guess at being about 20dpo by Monday so surely that would show up by then?
