  • Whichever it is, she's shaking in her boots. Recall that Florida is 5 hours earlier than it is here. She must be getting up at the crack of dawn to check the latest news on MSE, judging by how quickly she reports her name being used.

It's not so early in High Wycombe though is it. Perhaps it's not her doing the reporting, perhaps she has help from her accomplice. No names mentioned, but I'm sure people can workout who I'm talking about.
  • No word yet from the police.

I placed a post on here on the 28th Sept regarding this company/person... and its not appeared at all.
Anyway, the post was purely to share my experience & hope it would help others in a similar position.

I placed an order with this company on the 10th Sep & paid via paypal. After waiting the 5-10 business day, i had heard nothing.
After a number of calls/messages left on the customer service number & no response, I emailed the seller direct (not the company email address). I had obtained the sellers direct email address from my paypal receipt.

I received a response from (Text removed by MSE Forum Team) stating that my order had been overlooked due to a family emergency & that it would be sent out to me by the end of the week. I asked that she email me the tracking number, day it was sent & ETA of delivery. She promised she would, but never did.
I waited to the end of the week as i still did not receive a response. I contacted (Text removed by MSE Forum Team) again on saturday 28th Sept who stated that the package had been sent that morning, nevertheless she still didn't send me the tracking number, despite requesting it or ETA of delivery.

By this point i had had enough, I contacted paypal, explaining what had happened, giving them the transaction number & they assured me they would look into my complaint & guaranteed i would receive a refund.
I then emailed (Text removed by MSE Forum Team), informing her that i no longer wanted the items, to cancel my order & to refund me for goods not received/ i did not believe i would receive.
Not sure if it was because of paypal or my emails cc'd to a police officer i know or both, but within a couple of hours, she had refunded me my money & stated that despite the refund the items had been sent & to return the goods to her once they arrive or if i decide to keep the items to contact her again for payment.

Well i'm pleased to say my hunch about her/the company was right, the apparent 'sent' package never arrived....because it was never sent.
I was contacted by paypal confirming my refund the next day.
My advice is if you paid by paypal, contact paypal first - to see if they assist in obtaining your refund & then the police/action fraud. If you can cc them into your email to the seller/company/(Text removed by MSE Forum Team)... do so.

A lot of posts on the blog were edited/deleted because the owner of chairandsofacovers complained about her name being mentioned.
Unfortunately, I think a lot of us were tricked into paying by bank transfer, so getting a refund is impossible.

She's using the name of their products, and at some point she has had a supplier.
  • I have just informed the hosting company for the website to investigate them for fraudulent activity
