Don't waste your money! You can get a Vivacity - lovely phone - for £49 - see http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/pay-as-you-go/t-mobile-vivacity-white-payg/ (plus £10 topup less £10 cashback).
As others have suggested, then get an Ovivo sim for £5.

To the OP - if you are changing from an old phone to a smart phone, the first thing to be careful of is the battery life - your old phone might have lasted for days sitting around unused, but smart phones get through power much more quickly, so you will need to get in the habit of charging it up regularly or it will be completely flat when you actually need to use it!0

Many thanks , its the simple things that help, throwing my 'new' phone in the glove box won't do anymore. But the charger will sit next to the computer screen , that should nudge the old grey matter cells.
Will actually have to carry the darn thing around with me.
Ps , one thing I did check , would the phone fit into my breast pocket .0 -

Not the current first choice Androids - too big a screen and too easy for a pickpocket to nick..
The best bet for shirt pockets is the Sony Experia Mini. Got one myself, as well as another larger one. For jacket-less outings, the Sony is by far the best to carry around and isn't bad on batteries.0 -

You can unlock it for free if you follow a set of instructions that are posted on various phone websites. You have to be careful and confident. I've unlocked mine.0
