    Good Morning Diary,

Must do better today than yesterday, in all areas.. letter writing, packing, state of mind. Need to sort out DH's savings so that I have a regular income but all that was 'his department'; I have no confidence in making the necessary decisions to get the best return.

Yesterday's sunshine is just a memory and the birds seem very hungry - the local garden centre has an offer on bird seed; £7 for 12kg - very hard to resist even though I'll not be here to feed them. Know it's a mistake to buy it, but probably will anyway.

Robin there are so many tasks that I absolutely dread doing, that are for my own benefit, but when I do them, it is such a relief and I think to myself "that wasn't so bad"!

Sometimes if I am feeling very unmotivated I set the kitchen timer for 10 minutes and attack the tak. when the timer goes off I give myself the choice of keeping going or having a break. xx

Oh yes that's a good idea! ..Going to do it right now; need to find a bill I thought I'd paid but turns out was a different bill - need a new head today!

    ..Well that worked, sort of.

Result; have lost the bill, so it's now been re-issued.

Paying it will have to wait though, as Daft Dogs and I are just heading off to visit DH at the Burial Grove (probably the last time before leaving, so fully intend to "waste" some money on flowers for him as I've no roses left in the garden).

He probably wouldn't approve.. Ah well, it will make me feel better.

(Found some cash I'd forgotten about while searching for the bill, which was a nice surprise).

Of course you can :) The old style method using something similar is called Flylady.

The newer version I found was a thing called UnF*ck Your Habitat. You do 20 minutes cleaning then a 10 minute break. If you want long then 45 minutes cleaning with a 15 minute break. I have an app on my phone with the timers in. It's on tumblr and people post before and after photos to show how much you can get done and lots of tips. Their main love is cleaning using only vinegar solutions, gets so much clean, but I'm working my way through the masses of flash products I have which I get cheap at work.
