    Have you had your first hour of face-to-face contact with the solicitor to decide your 'strategy' in the mediation? The possibility of spousal maintenance should have been covered so you should not need to be going back and forth. It will cost you a lot more money if you get stiffed for stuff you have not liability to pay as well as all your marital debts that are in your name. MSE is great for certain things but is not a substitute for doing your own Googling and asking the professionals.
