Ford ripping out parts of my car!

so you have an old Ka, on which most of the door mechanism is broken. You take it to a dealer and they have the cheek to strip the car down to fix it?
How do you expect them to get to the mechanism without taking it apart?
I'm struggling to see what your issue is.
If this is an annual job at whereever else you go to, sounds like it needs to be stripped out and the job done properly instead of a temporary bodge0 -
There are two different types of people in the world:
The first, when they are slapped, they cower and accept, the second when slapped, slap back harder.
Goodnight all.

It's not irrelevent, they're not used to dealing with these sorts of faults.... All they do all day long is service new cars and plug them into diagnostic machines that tell them what to do. When it comes to something older they WILL treat it with a degree of contempt.... Just as many drivers out on the roads will do.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I know plenty of people with Ka's and not one of them has had an issue with the door handles.
I suggest you buy some replacements off ebay and fit them yourself. Cost - £50 and a couple of hours.Never Knowingly Understood.

Shame you didn't apply it before taking a nine year old car to a stealer.0
