    Hugs to Sammy Kaye.

Trying to find my GUAG. At the moment it appears to think if it has been written down "to do", it doesn't actually need doing.

Fretting about going to the Drs tomorrow - especially as I have to start all over with a different GP.

Morning all and welcome home to all those back of holiday.

Still too hot here and still not feeling great so another day of just pottering I think. Promised DS3 we'd go bowling today (half price offer) and DH is looking for somewhere to stay near Blackpool, promised DS2 and DS1 we'd go to the pleasure beach if we could as we have not been away this summer. Anyone been somewhere nice, preferably SC and within about HH drive of Blackpool?

To the shower and to wake up DS1.

    Morning All

Well I arrived back home about 12.30, put a load of washing on and got into bed about 1am. So far this morning I'm on the third load of washing and I've had a bath. So I need to unpack this load of stuff and put it away and also put the camping stuff away from last week! The cleaning fairies haven't magically been to visit while I'm away so the house is still a pigsty and needs sorting preferably before I go back to work in 2 weeks!

    Hugs Sammy Kaye

Piggers - pleased to hear that Samuel's back at home and on the mend.

    Have a good day all

    Morning all

MrsB - hope all goes well tomorrow. Similar situation here regarding the GUAG and lists. I often write things down and then end up doing something completely different, too.

The house looks like a bomb's dropped, so it's going to be a busy one. More decluttering and cleaning needed in the next few days and I've got to get all the holiday related stuff out of the way.

    Today I need to:
Carry on with the WIP that is the laundry mountain
Finish unpacking and re-home stuff (or find homes for new things)
Write a shopping list and drive to Lidl
Start cooking the meat from the freezer - the temperature is now below freezing, but not enough, so I'll cook the lot and then turn it off in the hope that it will recover. Best check with a few people if they have space in theirs.
    Check account balances and budget
Get DS1 to clean a few things in the kitchen from his pizza making session while we were away

Going to forage for some breakfast. I don't usually bother with cooking in the morning, but bacon needs using up and we've got lots of eggs and some tomatoes. And anyway, it's almost lunchtime. :D

Piggers great news about Samuel; if the other littl'uns have got his germies, let's hope it's a mild attack.:o

Well, I'm still struggling with tonsillitis and a fever but feeling a bit better today. SHHHH - don't tell DH, I want to get another few hours work out of him yet :rotfl:

We are having a disagreement at the moment because he is annoyed that I am ill and he needs to help out. So instead of clearing away after dinner, he started (but didn't finish) cleaning the deep fat fryer. Don't you hate it when they start jobs that don't really matter when you have people coming to stay. Last time we had people over, he cleaned the fire in the time I cleaned the whole house
But.... but.... but it's not like you're ill on purpose.:( Mine tends to start 2 or 3 jobs at once if I let him; I have to just gently keep him focused on one thing at a time.;) But he never complains about having to do stuff because I'm too poorly.:A

Just going to join Mr LW in the kitchen; sausage salad planned for dins, so I'll cook the veggie Lincolnshire sausages while he does the spuds for potato salad.;)
